I assume that Discovery Books is related to DK Books, at least from the look of this one. Great exploration of the spooky and macabre subject at hand--kids and adults who are fascinated with topics like wizardry, magic, and witches should enjoy this--although I certainly admit that it can be jarring to read about the true-life horrors of witch hunts throughout the world, mostly perpetrated against women--and then turn a page to see step-by-step DIY instructions for making a witch costume. All in good fun, but a paradoxical experience all the same. Wonderful illustrations from historic sources. Well done.
