Bruce Waynesmoor is the Knight of the Bat, chosen by Merlin himself to protect Camelot! But can even he resist the charms of Talia, duaghter of the one men call "The Demon's Head"?
Simply sad. So much potential here and they ruined a grand idea with a terrible story and at times silly art. The art itself reinforces the whiny brattyness of Bruce/Bat-Knight. It's difficult giving The Batman 2 stars, but there really is no redeeming quality to this, nor reason to recommend it.
The only problem I have with this book is the ending, which feels very predictable. Not a refreshing and enticing story like the first one, but seeing the short page count required, I can safely recommend it.
i really just wish there was more Arthurian things in this? so much is just a Batman reskin rather than a full reimagining to me. still have hangups about the art/style clash and Batman's horrible hair. why'd Robin die before they got him pants
You know somewhere here feels so right, especially with Batman taking a seat in the round table and hacking his way to victory. But there are still things that seemed so wrong and off. Why did Grayson have to die that early? Could Morgana's battle with the Dark Knight be more dramatic than that? How difficult does it really take for R'as al Ghul to be defeated? And while I do get the epilogue, it seems so insufficient.
But then, I guess it's a quite good effort to bring Batman to the medieval times.
No problemos. Tapi memang nggak segawat waktu dia jadi vampir sih.
