Julianne —Ever fallen so hard for a guy, you forget your own name? Neither have I, not that I can remember. But that’s the problem—I remember nothing. Not why I crave sugary drinks and candy. No clue why I have a minor obsession with telling bad jokes. And I especially have no idea why a motorcycle club has decided I need a babysitter. I’m actually not even complaining about the last one. My babysitter is fine with a capital F. If I had to lose my mind to find him, I’m not even mad about it.
Flint —I screwed up, and now I’ve got to pay up. I never expected the payment to come in the form of a walking disaster. But if the debt to get back into the club’s good graces is watching over some amnesia chick, no matter how cute she is when she curses at me, I’ll do it. I’ll even find a way to get her memory back. Don’t care how long it takes—weeks, even—I’m willing to play the babysitter if she keeps doing things that keep me on my toes and my heart beating for the first time in a long while.
While I might be in this for the long haul to figure out this girl’s mystery, the rest of the world isn’t. Or at least not the ones trying to kill her before she remembers what she doesn’t know. I made a mistake once; I’m not about to make another. Having this chick lose her life might just be the biggest mistake of mine.
Trigger This book contains swearing, violence, and scenes that some readers may find uncomfortable. And lots of fun times between the sheets.
After traveling all over the world as a child, S.J. Rowe has found a home in the southwest with her husband. She continues to visit exotic destinations around the world with her best friends, and when she is home, she splits her time between watching baseball and singing in the car. To unwind, she finds herself enjoying a good cup of coffee while curled up watching Star Wars.
This was a pretty fun story. The main character Jules is hilarious, the things she blurts out crack me up and I loved how the guys were shocked at what she said. I would like to be friends with someone like Jules, it would be nonstop action and hilarity.
Flint was okay for the lead. He quickly grew to care for Jules and could be really sweet with her. He did still have that macho attitude that I see a lot in biker books, where he refers to women as 'sluts and bitches' and doesn't seem to have too much respect for them. I get sick of that and wonder why we can't have progressive men who are badass but also don't act like they're better than women.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book. All opinions are my own. Thank you to the author and Hidden Gems for the copy.
Another awesome installment in this series. I am in love with Kitten. She was literally everything in this story 🤣 with no memory, her witty remarks, she was a wild child and I laughed so much. Flint was wrapped around her finger so quickly and it was cute.
It was a good storyline and the FMC had a funny personality. There weren’t a lot of sparks between her and the MMC. It wasn’t a hit story but an entertaining one.
I was actually surprised that Flint was the next book in the series. I wanted to DNF this book about 30% in because it was so boring… I loved meeting Julianne, she is hilarious in this book, but I just feel like this book needed more? The spice doesn’t hit until about 60% in. I felt like Flint disappearing for two weeks was awkward, I know the club was starting up this new business, but it just seemed unneeded? The musical number with Julianne and her friends is totally random, but totally cool! Wish there was more about her getting her memory back and the consequences of that. There just seem to be so much leading up to that that wasn’t needed, I wanted more of what happened after she got her memory back. I wanted more about her parents and her previous life, not just a rushed HEA.
I also don’t know if I’m going to continue to read the series, I’m not interested in learning about Mad Max… I guess I just thought the series would go a different way after book one.
love Flint and Julianne! Big, bad Flint, has no need or desire for a permanent woman in his life. Then, here comes Jules, no memory, no filter and not a care one that the men she's spouting off to could just do anything to her and no one would ever know. But there's something about her that keeps Flint on edge in a not so good, good, way.
“Run, Kitten, while you can. ’Cause this Hound ain’t going to stop till he sinks his teeth in tight.”
This book is absolutely fantastic! This author has such a way of telling a story that you can't help but be consumed. I laughed so hard I cried, was infuriated with a bully, and cheered a couple Hounds on as they took care of her. And I don't even want to get started on Gator and Bailey! I so hope they get a book. These two have a great story to tell I think.
"You’re in my world now. Let me show you how the big dogs do it.”
Jules/Julianne is suffering from amnesia when she is found by Flint and his crew. She has no recollection of who she is but she does seem to know one of the guys on the MC crew or at least she thinks she does.
There are some funny moments when she thinks she’s having an internal monologue but she’s speaking out loud and everyone can hear her thoughts. She and Flint have a bit of a push pull kind of a thing going on.
Flint seems to be a little lost to me at times. He’s trying to impress his higher up and at times it feels like he’s like a teenager looking for approval.
While the book was cute there wasn’t anything that would make me remember any of the characters past the next two books that I will read.
So, if you are looking for something light with some humor you have found it.
I received an ARC and I am leaving a voluntary review.
Jules really made this one fun! I liked how she really didn't have a filter and kept surprising everyone, including herself. For most people, loosing their memory would be a bad thing, this ended up being the best thing that every happened to Jules. It really let her be herself, find new friends, appreciate her old ones (once she found them again) and found a new family with the club and love with Flint.
It was funny to see how Flint's feelings changed as the story went on. From a burden, to being intrigued, to she was all he could think about, to almost ruining it all because he felt he wasn't enough. So glad that that part didn't last long.
Things got a bit dicey towards the end, but they did what they had to and now have some good things against an enemy that seems to be coming for them.
I am LOVING this series. Of course the mc theme is awesome but what really makes this story is the FMC Julianne!
As we know from book 2, Flint is in the doghouse because he messed up. When there's a breach in the perimeter of the club, he (and others) check it out and that's when they discover Julianne who is dirty and disheveled and has NO idea who she is or what's happened. It appears she was out running, took a fall down a hill and now has amnesia.
Julianne is a HOOT!! Seeing her reaction to her situation and those around her is hilarious! And of course we can't forget her and Flint's chemistry...
I don't usually love a series that has so many books but in this case I can't wait to read them all!
Cute book h was funny with her comments. Her and H had good banter well her and most people 😂 Intrigued about Generals book hmm 😏. The h bestie though was a real B after awhile to the Prospect kinda hope he finds someone new because she started annoying me with her attitude I get it big girl don’t think you are worth it yea yea fellow big girl here too, I was with it the first time but when the Prospect laid out there how he thought of her it got annoying with how she treated him. Anyways good book first time read for this author, may want to read the first two but I would still say a pretty standalone book I felt though.
Flint and Julianne’s amnesia storyline features a former Delta Forces/military hacker and a potty mouthed, female who falls down a cliff onto club property and has no clue who she is or how she got there. I got the biggest charge out of Jules as she braves it out with a tough girl attitude and outrageously irreverent verbal diarrhea. Her tongue in cheek flirtation toward Flint who sees her as nothing more than a job and a pain in his posterior, kept me highly entertained. I enjoyed the big brother/little sister relationship between Jules and Gator, the new prospect, who is charged with sticking to her like white on rice when the club finds no reason to keep her. Unfortunately it’s painfully obvious within days that there’s danger afoot and Jules requires the club’s protection. Much of the story is dedicated to the unraveling of the heroine’s history and the emotional disconnect she suffers when she no longer has any memories to guide her. Flint is drawn to the dichotomy that is Jules; she’s flirtatious, irreverent and fearless, taking her danger in stride thinking it’s all a misunderstanding until danger closes in. Flint is constantly kept on edge by Julianne’s quirky demeanor, her vulnerability, and his desire to do more than protect her and the anticipation is glorious. I absolutely loved the scenes between Jules and Ruby who quickly bond in an entertaining scene that made me laugh out loud. I really love Ruby a lot and can’t wait for her turn to shine. I also love how the author adds further dimension to the story as current events affect other club members while she hints at future storyline threads and possible relationships that always keep me wanting more.

Flint is in hot water with the club due to his negligence with the VP and his ol' lady. Kitten has been attacked and lost her memory. There is just something about Julieann aka Kitten that draws Flint in. And, Kitten definitely speaks here mind and sometimes forgets to use her "inside voice". After her accident she comes out of her shell according to her friends that she does not remember. She hears one word and flashes of memory comes back and she spirals. The book does have an HEA but leaves you wondering about some things in the epilogue.
This is Flint and Julianne/Kitten's book. The first two were great. Unfortunately, this one missed the mark. The emotional tie just wasn't flushed out to its fullest. Julianne lost her memory & ends up the club. Flint ends up on babysitting duty because of poor decisions. Julianne's loss of memory allows her to reinvent herself in a way. The interplay between the two are funny and a great start but it just isn't quite to a relationship stage. That part seems rushed as with the confrontation at the end.
Truly enjoyed this love affair between Julianne and Flint. Had some of the funniest stuff coming from Kitten (Julianne) while she had amnesia. She even danced on a table for Flint. They solved who the bad guys were that was trying to kill Julianne and when she got her memory back they still remained a couple. I would recommend this to anyone who likes MC books and anyone who enjoys funny dialogue. Thank you S.J.Rowe for another well written book. Keep them coming.
This is the third book in this phenomenal series and this is Flint and Jules' story. This is a well written action packed story, with found family, friendships, emotions, loyalty, determined, danger, suspense, intrigue, secrets, challenges, humour, witty banter, twists and turns, undeniable chemistry, and love, which all leads to an entertaining, and captivating addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
I actually really loved reading this book, so many funny moments with Jules unfiltered talking while she was battling Amnesia. It was funny, intense, HOT, and had some small sad moments but ultimately it was great. I loved the dynamic and banter between Jules & Flint, like the other books the MMC never thinks he deserves someone like the women they’re obsessed with but Flint pulls his head out his ass with the help of his fella MC brothers and realises he can have it all. Onto Mad max. Never heard about him (that I remember) but I’m curious.
I absolutely love Jules. She doesn't remember her past and that includes her insecurities. This allows her to be whoever she wants to be and that woman is outrageously funny, fearless and free spirited. You never know what she is going to say and I loved Flint's reaction every time. After never seeing himself as one to settle down with one woman, it doesn't take long for him to fall for Jules. The book has humor, suspense and a great steamy romance.
A new author for me. This is the 3rd book in the Hounds of the Reaper MC Series. It’s definitely a keeper. The story followed Flint and Julianne and there are so many fun and hilarious moments. Flint is his own island and doesn’t do relationships- he can get sex any where - anytime. He doesn’t need a woman full time until … Jules she has no memory, and certainly lacks any kind of filter . Such a delicious read.
Flint and Jules kept me glued to the pages and drawn to their antics and banter. She doesn't remember who she is but the person she is channeling leaves a lot to speculate about. Flint is tasked with keeping her safe after a screwup and has to babysit but looks like fate is messing with his heart. Will it lead them down the road to happiness. I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.
This book was an absolute blast to read! Kitten, the amnesia-stricken heroine, brought so much humor and unpredictability to the story. Her quirky personality, complete with witty remarks and a wild streak, had me laughing out loud more times than I can count. Flint, tasked with babysitting her to make up for a past mistake, quickly finds himself wrapped around her finger in the cutest way.
Jules is by far my favorite MFC so far. This whole series had been great!! Such a fun read and so well written. The lightness of the banter mixed with the action and drama definitely keeps you reading. The way that Flint grows into his own and finds more of himself is definitely relatable. Never know what you’re missing until you find what you’re meant to have.
This has to be my favourite in the series so far. I absolutely ate up this story of Flint and Julianne. She was hilarious, and I loved how Flint fell for her for it. I was immersed in the story right from the start. Lots of action, mystery, hilarous banter, sprinkled with spice and all the side characters you've come to love if trading from the first in the series.
Oh mama…this book is too hot to handle! Good Lordy, what a kick ass read. The storyline is amazing; the characters are so freakin cool; the plot twists and turns keep you shaking your head; and the dang HEA is downright explosive. This is Book 3 in the series—and it’s absolutely awesome! Grab your copy today! (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and just ate it up!) ❤️
Julianne has amnesia after being run off the road. Flint is tasked with babysitting duty after a fall from grace with the club. Will these two learn to work together to ensure a mutually happily ever after?
The internal monolog from Julianne is worth the read all by itself. If you like MC books and witty ass chicks with amnesia, then check this out. Happy reading! 🙋🏽♀️
The first book - Chains - got me hooked. Now the third book, and I can't put it down. Loved Jules and Flint, the connection and dialog they had. I laughed through the majority of this book, due to the unfiltered conversations Jules had. Can't wait for the next book!
I didn’t think that Flint would be able to clear himself after he messed up so big in the last book with Bulldog and Izzy. He met his match when Jules literally fell into his lap. Having lost her memory and who she is the club is trying to find out who is trying to kill her. There are so many funny lines in this I love this story.
This story is a great addition to the series. I liked the characters and the MC family. There is a bit of a mystery’s on how to help her get her memory back and if she will leave or stay with her man. It was neat the way she got her memory back if a little harrowing. HEA, no cheating, no cliffhanger. Now to move on to the next one in the series! Enjoy
Flint and Julianne are the couple for this addition to the Hounds of Reaper series. LOTS of twists, turns, mystery, MC drama and laughs along the way. We also get lots of spicy good stuff. Great read with lots of interesting characters. There is a storyline that seems to thread its way to the next book. Great read!
Not going to lie, their behavior toward her in the beginning when she was obviously hurt felt very out of character for them. I was about to do a "why did this series have to go to crap" thing, but then it evened out.
I honestly want to be friends with Jules because she sounds absolutely hilarious.
Excellent read. I absolutely loved Flint and Julianne’s story ❤️❤️❤️ she has no filter and shocks even the MC brothers with her questions and comebacks lol 😂 A definite page turner and very entertaining. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎🖤
