A painting is just art…or is it?
Tony James dreams of earning a living as an artist, though his job as a massage therapist is standing in the way—and lackluster sales at the galleries that represent him. He’s been told he’s talented, and that his seascape paintings reflect a deep connection to the ocean, but he needs something more if he’s ever going to succeed. He needs to be noticed. He needs recognition.
And then one day it happens. One of his paintings makes a splash. People love it. They want it. Even his ex shows interest. But there’s someone who wants it more, more than everyone else. And for reasons Tony could have never imagined.
Can a peaceful and tranquil scene provoke greed, ruthless behavior and death? Can it also bring two people who were once in love back together?
Tony James could have never anticipated the questions, nor could he have anticipated the answers.
