I understand that it's a novella, but the way everything was written seems like a 1-page retelling of a long novel: abrupt, superficial and too short with no thought put into it.

This is my first venture into multiracial and male on male and boy did I throw myself in face first! I definitely tapped into some secret fantasies I didn’t even know I had! Joining the Party is book one of the Lucky Springs series and Dragon did not waste any time jumping right into the action.
Cassie is the ideal “open minded” woman. She isn’t afraid to go after what she wants, and isn’t afraid of the lifestyle she is offered. Dominic can be summed up in one word…Yum, and he is a great match for Cassie. Alex and Monty, the bi-sexual male lovers, are both intriguing and awkward for me. As this was my first read with male on male action, I was grateful to not have it constant throughout the book (they only have a few scenes that they do things together in). The group action between the characters is nothing less than hot. Dragon throws in a little and a lot of everything including multiracial lovers, orgies, voyeurism, anal, male on male, and of course a sizzling romance.
Joining the party is a well written “naughty” read. If you like group action where anything goes this is a book that will have your body burning. I have definitely added this to my reread list and I am eager to read the next one in the series.

Who does not like a fantastic tale that includes male on male action, ménages, orgies, and intense sexual encounters between a loving couple, voyeurism, and just about every fantasy imaginable played before your very eyes? I like how Ms. Dragon leaves enough of a story hanging that we know that Ham will get a story and hopefully Cassie’s cousin Jessica will too. Joining the Party is full of hedonistic scenarios that leave you tingling for more. While the storyline is not the strongest, the sexual encounters leave you so hot you just might set off the smoke detectors in your house. Very nicely done.

This story is great. You've got MM MMMMF FFM orgies and sex party's. The best things is it's not dirty of sleazy. The relationships between the meriwether brothers and Cassie is complicated but does actually work and make sense. If you into romance but not necessarily big sex scene/orgies, this wouldn't be a book for you. Great HEA

This was a new one for me and I really enjoyed it........so out of the norm quite sure it's not for everyone so I won't suggest it for a must read but if you are looking for something new then give this series a try.......

I have no idea why I like this series. The story is very think and the sex is plentiful. Maybe that is it...all those steamy scenes. MM and MMMF! Hot Hot Hot!
