I received this book as a gift from another artist friend. If you enjoy creating you will love this book. The photographs of the figures are sublime! The dolls/figures/sculptures themselves are exquisite.

I peruse this book over and over again for inspiration. While I'm an illustrator and work mostly on 2D supports, I have have a desire to create large scale models and dolls. I return often to this beautiful book for guidance.

It offers ideas for techniques, detailed photographs, and descriptions along with bits of history. I think anyone interested in fabric or sculpture would enjoy this book.
