When Jake Timber finds himself thrown into another mission, he expects danger, he expects trouble, he expects to be shot at, but does he expect a double cross? Follow Jake Timber as he works his way through one of his most complicated adventures yet. It concerns a bank robbery crime that will take all of his perceptive powers to solve.
I’m done with Jake Timber. They were good to great through about book 16. Then they became mediocre to poor. This last? Oof. Very rushed, shallow, and needs an editor.
“He saw a glimpse of him as he moved higher up and he fired at him.”
“He would head back to Lone Banks and see if he was there. If not then he would just have to go searching for him but his gut feeling was he was onto him, it was time to find out.”
Uh…. Who’s on first? Several issues similar to the above.
On thing about Timber stories he one determined US Marshall. He will face disperadoes all by himself. Author had him cleaning up several areas that had corrupt officials. His stories have Turing the page as fast as you can. Excellent must read. Enjoyable.
