I was a little surprised by the beginning of this story. The action picks up pretty much right where it left off and then quickly changed direction to the romantic aspect. At first, I thought it was a little fast, but I quickly realized it was just what was needed to enhance the storyline. The first half of the story ended up being vital in progressing the relationship between Anna and her other mates. Felix (I love him) was already well established as one of her mates, but the others have been pretty idle until now. It was so well done in that there was drama on the personal side of the story as well as the action side. We still get plenty of investigating done and I really appreciated that it was imperfect. They are definitely having to work for their answers. I like that it isn't coming easy for them - I feel it adds quite a bit to the story. I was also thrown, once again, at the ending. I was expecting a twist just because of the name of the book, but it wasn't as obvious as I expected it to be. The ending once again leaves us chomping at the bit for the next book, while providing enough closure that I'm not the least bit mad about it.

BOOK 2 in the Alpha Team Series

I am very particular about reading paranormal, fated mate books. I usually don't read many, but with this author....I will always read her books! This story had great plot and character development. I'm obsessed with this series!

This book starts right back up where it left off. What Anna thought she knew about her ex was all wrong. She is trying to navigate mixed emotions while learning she has more than 1 fated mate. She has 4....maybe 5 but we'll see. Say hello to Rion too.

Aksel's feelings towards Anna really transform in this book. Blaze opens up too, and wants more with Anna. Felix and Griffen were already on board with being Anna's mate.

Oh, and don't worry, there is spice!

I received an arc copy of this book and I’m so glad I did because the ending of the first book had me in shock.

I started this series prior to reading the “first” series in this world and not once did I feel confused or like I was missing information when they were referring to Anna’s best friend Ally and what happened prior to book one in the Alpha Team series. That alone should say how amazing DM Page does in their writing.

This book also leaves off on a huge cliff hanger in a few departments and I am willing to pay for the rest of the series to be in my hands immediately.

All the stories in this universe are such short fun reads where I was cracking up at the angst and falling in love with every character even when they’re an Akshole (ha get it?)

Good but could be better. The writing style seems a little simplistic but it's a quick, easy, satisfying read.

Askel was less mean but I think some more inner dialogue would have made his character development feel more real.

Wondering who the letter stalker is since they don't think it's Killian.

More spice this time and she knows they're all mates now so I'm hoping next book she'll bond more of them.

I cannot wait for the third book to come out!!! It was great to see Anna form stronger bonds with her men and also for them to admit their feelings for Anna. Anna has to face some past trauma with Ryan as well as trying to deal with the sire bond side effects. I enjoyed the addition of Rion and I hope that we see more of him in book 3 hopefully! Multiple POVS which I love as well as spicy scenes.

I loved this book much like I loved the last one. It definitely had action along with spice. I enjoyed seeing the different relationships develop throughout the book. We really get a good look at the guys views on things, especially how they can be better with Anna. I have some questions, even more so after the ending and I can’t wait for the next book. So excited!!

Each book by DM Page has been better and better! The alpha team is slowly worming their way into my heart and while I don’t totally understand their reasons for not telling Anna they are all her mate, I love learning about them and seeing them all slowly fall.

On to book 3!

Utter perfection! I wanted it to be nothing but longer!
I will be frustrated for the next couple months waiting for the 3rd book to come out!
I love how much the characters grew since the first book and getting a small glimpse at some of Anna’s mates showing their true selves was beautiful and I want more!!!!

I loved this one! Finally getting to see Blaze crack a little with Anna was so what I wanted! Also, Aksel tore my heart out there with his confession. I cannot wait for the next book! Anna and her guys are so amazing! Can’t wait to see more Rion!

A great book two!

So much growth between Anna and her guys in this book and a new man is added to the mix.

This book is filled with spice, action, angst, and love. It’s wonderful and the end will have you gripping your book/reading device.

4⭐️ I really enjoy the writing, but it keeps jumping onto action packed scenes to quickly. That is my only complaint. AND she needs to get to Blaze faster. Like GIRLIE get in his pants ALREADY!! I want to read ab himmm!!

I like the pace of the book. There aren’t any drawn out scenes or unnecessary bed time scenes. Love the characters. The ending of the book is not what I expected. And it looks like there another mate.

A few more twists added into the storyline but still a little predictable on what happens with her mates. Felt the storyline ”I love you” happened way too soon as she is still getting to know them all.

so entertaining!

Book two in Anna’s story was action packed and filled with twists! I loved watching the group grow closer. Especially Anna learning what all of them are to her. But will they be able to find this mystery stalker and take down Killian? There are so many unknown factors in their story- it’s great build up to the next book! I can’t wait to get Anna’s reaction to everything we learned at the end!
