Loved it.

The master, Edgar Cayce's discoveries, through individual cases, to the Akashic Records (the ethereal recording of every souls journey through every life) is well retold in this book by Todeschi. He uses Cayce's detailed documentations of actual case reading's during his time as the sleeping prophet to build a condensed version concentrating on the records, and how everyone can access them.

Most (if not all) of what he states about past lives, free will, karma, and our soul's purpose is in alignment to my own personal beliefs, discovered through experience and observation.

I have always felt (and now have confirmed) that our past lives "bleed through" to this one. There are patterns that keep appearing if you look closely you can see them, and either change or continue them depending if they are for good or ill.

Excellent book.

Edgar Cayce was a fascinating man, who did so much good for people. When he found he had the power to go into trance states to heal, he had no clue that reincarnation existed, even though he spoke of it in the trances. His Christian upbringing did not teach this, though the Gnostic gospels do, they were left out of the Bible. He makes a compelling case for reincarnation, and backs it up with scriptures. I will be writing more about this, but am writing on Exemplore.com and Hubpages.com now when I am not on my own blog.

This is a good book if one wants to understand the purpose of the Akashic Records in relation to the past, present and future and how it plays an "integral" role in our every waking - and sleeping - moments. Because the concept was semi-new to me and it was my first book dealing solely with the Akashic Records, it was a struggle to read in the beginning; however, once the momentum of understanding began to flow that is when every sentence became more and more pleasant to read as oppose to being a chore.

The title "Edgar Cayce on the Akashic Records" can be a bit misleading as well. It is not so much about Edgar Cayce speaking on his opinions and thoughts regarding the Akashic Records, but rather his accounts of the information that he has pulled from the Akashic Records - and how this information was used to assist his clients during their current lives. Kevin Todeschi plays the role of an expounder on the case studies and findings regarding the information obtained and given by Edgar Cayce.

I would recommend reading this book with a highlighter because there are wonderful statements, as well as entire passages, that are worth noting. It took me awhile to finish, but I am glad I did! Oh, and one more thing, there is a passage regarding the Titanic that will pique the interest to research the connections between an author from the 19th century and the actual ship. Extremely interesting and cannot be coincidental.

Keep the mind attuned to a positive frequency!

A fascinating read, as it required me to consider for the first time, the subject of reincarnation.

Todeschi’s use of case studies illustrate the positive, and negative effects, of one’s free will choices, and provides an interesting theory that accessing your Akashic records, can help a person to understand how proclivities and habits may actually be spirit based.

Discerning, open minded folks that can easily entertain new theories and subjects, will likely enjoy this easy to read book.

Not an easy listen because of the formal english. It does have good material although I wanted to know about Cayce's experiences inside the records not necessarily all the readings and how they helped people. I would like to read the physical book on day.

It answered a lot of questions I had, but I wish I had someone else to speak about Cayce's writing. It's something not many people would understand, or even comprehend, but it's the truth.

Highly recommended to those already familiar with Edgar Cayce's work who want to know more about his views on reincarnation and the Akashic Records. The actual accounts/readings were spectacular and very insightful. I had purchased this book more than ten years ago and was excited to find it on audio so that I could finally "read" it. It was worth the wait.

Mind blowing. Amazing. I am putting the pieces together from other books and this just helped fill in the gaps. Gave this book to many others to read. Our world is more than what is right in front of us, and Kevin Todeshi, with Edgar Cayce's help, is bringing us the knowledge we need to understand that. Highly recommend this as another added layer to understanding our soul's journey.

Read a Cayce biography this year and was blown away. I learned of this book through reading the other. The content and the message drew me in and I couldn’t help but feel a tad enlightened and my intuition enhanced after reading it.

I find all of Edgar Cayce's work to be absolutely fascinating, this book being one of my favorites I have read. I finished it all in just a couple of days. Kevin J Todeschi is the executive director & CEO of Edgar Cayce's "A.R.E Foundation" & has been teaching his work for over 35 years. This book shows his vast knowledge of Cayce's readings with plenty of examples & stories to show for it. If you are not familiar with Edgar Cayce, I highly recommend looking into him even if you are not a believer of what he taught. This book explains his experience with the Akashic Records, a concept that was certainly not popular in the early 1900's. It also shares Cayce's understanding of God, our soul's purpose, reincarnation, & karma. If you are unfamiliar with how his channeling was verbalized, I will tell you personally- it is not an easy read. His channeled speech was quite unique & hard to follow, therefore I appreciate Todeschi's approach at explaining background information as well as the meanings behind Cayce's messages. I enjoyed every page!

Edgar Cayce was a profound psychic and talks about his ability to tap into the Akashi records.

“Akasha is a term for either space or æther in traditional Indian cosmology, depending on the religion. The term has also been adopted in Western occultism and spiritualism in the late 1.”-Wikipedia

“Akashic records
In theosophy and anthroposophy, the Akashic records is a compendium of all universal events, thoughts, words, emotions, and intent ever to have occurred in the past, present, or future in terms of all entities and life forms, not just human.Wikipedia”

You get taken on a deep exploration of his experiences regarding his own life (his life prior to becoming Edgar Cayce) and his experience with others.

This book goes DEEP! The way he speaks is almost comparable to the Bible King James Version fyi. So it takes focus to sho!!

Happy reading!!

Many books have been written about Edgar Cayce, but what is interesting about this one is that it focuses on Cayce's explanation about the existence and purpose of the Akashic records, and how accesing that information can impact how we live our lives. Also interesting to me is the fact that he was speaking the same language that many scientists and spiritual teachers are speaking today: about the power of the mind to change the expression of our genes, and the manifestation of our desires through meditation and creative visualization. Cayce had a gift and used it for good, and thanks to biographer Todeschi we can study Cayce's life and teachings from different angles.

I loved it, very positive and uplifting look at how karma works. I have a lot of underlining in this book. Easy to read and digest (some Cayce material can be hard since it's written in 'old' language) - breaks down the concepts well. I liked that the author used case studies from the reading to further explain karma and the Akashic records.

Cayce was a gentle soul, and a gifted medium, but I doubt that he was actually consulting the Akashic Record, given that no one he read for seems to have lived previously lives in Asia, Australia, or Africa outside of ancient Egypt.

I'm totally embarrassed by how much I used to be obsessed with all things Edgar Cayce. That's all I have to say on all my reviews of his books.

Awesome book. Everyone should learn about the Akashic Records. I've used the Records since 1991 and have learned some very remarkable things. They're also the source to interpret your dreams and to learn about past lives. Everyone gets a librarian to assist them when there. Anyone who adequately purifies their thoughts and attunes to the Creative Forces of the Universe can enter in and read the books. They're accessed through hypnosis, and I use a simple guided meditation that physically leads the person to a building on the horizon known as the Akashic Records or Universal Storehouse of Knowledge, and to tell me when they reach the front door. When they do, we open the door and enter the Akashic Records, and endless Hall of Records (Books with writing and moving pictures) where everything from the beginning of time is recorded. Nowadays, there are some extremely critical things good people need to know. Dreams are calling out to people, visions and prophecy happening. Evil or self-tormented people are not permitted to enter the Akashic Records.
