The “next step” for those who want to discover angels in their lives, this book goes beyond angelic appearances to a keen new awareness of how angels influence world evolution and one’s own personal psyche. You will explore new research on angels’ roles in personal and planetary karma, the angelic hierarchy, the origin and destiny of Christ, archangels and fallen angels, and the meaning of angels in the Revelation.
Much has been sought as to the understanding of the angelic kingdom. There are numerous interpretations on the subject, but for the serious inquisitor these spurious accounts fall short. When one wants to evaluate something from a somewhat empirical view, and the only information is highly tinged with religious overtones, disappointment is the result. Occasionally through the fog of the self serving literature, comes a source that shines. This phenomenal text is just such a shining source. Edgar Cayce's dissertation on the culture of Angels, looks at these life forms the way a sociologist looks at a society. The critical eye he uses, makes this work all the more palatable. The Angels are a type of consciousness that seeks to be reunited with God, like all other life forms, Angels have to evolve like any other sentient being. Contrary to a popular belief Angels are not made perfect. Perfection is a type of limitation, when something has reach perfection, there is nowhere it can go, because if it was perfect it would already be there. Without imperfection would the pursuit of perfection exist ? There is another misconception about Angels, and that is one of blind obedience. What is the purpose of free will if you can't use it ? If one disagrees with an authority figure about how to use freewill, is that an act of independence, or is that an act of wanton rebellion ? If you choose not to use freewill, do you still have freewill ? It was this dilemma that some members of the angelic kingdom faced. An attempt was made to modify the plan of nature/God that lead to the so called rebellion in heaven. It's one thing for somebody to outline your life for you, its another for you to do it yourself. An estimated 1/3 of the angelic kingdom followed Lucifer into the lower worlds, to gain another type of experience. The Angels (if they truly had freewill) had to want to chose to be reunited with God, it could not be forced on them because other options were hidden. This is the true meaning behind the story of Adam & Eve. They were offered choice by Lucifer, the way he was offered choice by his reasoning. Whether this rebellion was a part of nature's plan to begin with, to offer diversity, is not known. As the Angels deviated from the original plan of nature, they became more vilified by the church, finally reaching the apogee in Lucifer, the most rebellious. To paraphrase Edgar Cayce, the universe would have been drastically different, if not for these cosmic rabble-rousers. What would our world be like without our iconoclast, such as Newton, Einstein, Galileo, Jesus, Lilith, Marilyn Manson, Tiny Tim. Keep in mind God was an iconoclast to the "perfection of nothing" that came before him. According to Mr Cayce, humanity's relation to the angles, is like that of a parent/Ambassador. A parent in the sense that subtle guidance is given to those who seek it through dreams, and other esoteric ways. The role as an ambassador comes into play when it comes to exchanging modes of evolution. Humans must be kept awake as to the beauty, awe and wonders of existence that inspire. The Angels have never been in physical bodies, and have no actual experience of the trials, and tribulation that humans directly go through. In this sense the humans are the teachers. Because the Angels, according to Mr Cayce need us to help instill in them a sense of earth life, they are "around" to observe. The reader must keep in mind the "stories" of angels having real bodies, as compare to astral bodies. This could be just a misinterpretation of what was seen. Remember Angels are still evolving, they also have much to learn as we all do. All consciousness is like a spark separated from a fire, trying to remember that it was once an equal part of the fire. What makes the Angels an interest study, is that they were supposed to be some of the earliest life forms created after God created itself. These were to be the builders of the cosmos, when God said let there be, it was talking to these newly created, extended versions of its self, endowed with freewill. The "home" of these beings is the 5th dimension, or what the Christians call the heaven world. These life forms communicate with a type of color language. Because the language is highly efficient, what would take a week at our level to learn, would only take an instant at that level of reality to transmit and absorbed. It is these flashes of lights and colors, that some think might have been mistaken as wings. The Angelic hierarchy as we understand it, puts the Angles who still adhered to God's original plan as being at the top, such as the Seraphim, Cherubim, and the Thrones. Those who offered the most diversity were resigned to the lower end. These would be the general term of Angels and the Archangels, we hear the most about. Michael, Uriel, Raphael, Sarakiel, Gabriel, Raruel, Ramiel, and Lucifer. These are the Ambassadors spoken of early. Remember, this division is one we human have set up, among the angelic kingdom, there is little known of how they view their social order. A unique twist on the story of Adam is that he was a prototype human soul, created to evolve first, and become a spiritual leader in later versions of humanity. Throughout history this person came back as a great religious deity. This prototype human reach a peek in the lives of Siddhartha Gautama the Buddha and Jesus the Christ. What this means is that this human soul was the first to achieve full awareness in the heaven world. This was a major goal in this system of reality. Once one of our own kind achieved awaking, it was known that our type of consciousness was ready to be a teacher instead of just a student. As a western thinker, Edgar Cayce looks at things with the eyes of a convinced skeptic. In the last two chapters of the book, Edgar talks about the true nature of Guardian Angels, and how ideals becomes physical events. He also touches on the subject of how prophesy is a plan that sets up expectations, and changes behavior. Throughout the book, remarks are made as to the host of Divas. The Divas are an offshoot of the angelic kingdom, they are intrusted to interact with the weather and the plant kingdom to promote growth. They also evolve and seek their maker, only their path home, like ours, is different. Their lowest manifestation in the etheric realm is the elemental kingdom. These beings are known as Elfs, Fairies, Sylphs, Gnomes, Undines, and all the other names given to the nature spirits. The book ends on page 229 because there are no pages after that. To address the concerns of those asking what are Mr Cayce's credentials. He is a world renown psychic who offers information and insight that tends to excel in comparison to the self serving views of the piously benighted. One can only evaluate his words in as much as they satisfy a person's current mindset. While in a trance state, Mr Cayce is able to access the Akashic records (book of life), and view this information with discerning eyes. A critical evaluation is sought with every concept explored, and the most sincere interpretations are presented to the reader. In dealing with such profound ideals, a strictly empirical view has little weight. What is needed is prudence, and the open mindedness of a true seeker of enlightenment.
I absolutely love this book. I think Edgar Cayce spoke literal truths during his hypnosis or sleep sessions. I believe everything in this book and it saved my life a few times in the past week. This book is part of a new beginning for me at the end of a seemingly impossible time in my life. I Hope You Love this as much as I do.
I loved this book. Period. It is an amazing story of the world before we knew it as humans, and the purpose and meaning of our souls's journey. I have read many of Edgar Cayce's books, life, and readings. Sometimes they can be dry and hard to read. This book is a great source to pull Edgar Cayce's readings and wisdom together as one concept about Angels and Archangels...giving us the message and knowledge that Cayce probably wanted- had he been able to step back from his work. Again, another mind blowing book that will shake your beliefs, and open a Pandora's box you may not want to know about. From this book you will find ten others to read, because it proposes so many ideas that you will be asking 1000 questions more when you are done. But for me, it is just yet, another layer of the world beyond our physical that I want to learn about. I highly recommend this as another piece of the puzzle.
"За ангелите, архангелите и невидимите светове "-Роберт Гранд От години чета и такава литература и винаги ме е вълнувало тайнството на духовния свят.Някой от вас докосвал ли се е до това измерение или усещал ли го е спонтанно в ежедневието си?
This is an easy to read book, and the author’s intent is clearly a positive one. Based on the book’s title, I thought this would be a book where Edgar Cayce’s readings would be the centerpiece, and that revelations from Cayce would give new insights on how to better understand and work with angels on a daily basis.
Instead, this book is the author’s beliefs on angels, using multiple sources (including Cayce) to support his personal views. At times this seems to be a history book about angels, and at other times how angels are represented in the bible. Although, as I said, his intentions are good, I don’t believe or agree with everything he wrote. For example, I don’t believe in angels of darkness, which he says Cayce also supports.
I did get a few tidbits from the book which may have value.
The two star rating does not reflect a bad book, but is rather based on that the book did not meet my expectations.
It's informative, and thought Provoking and a breakdown of some of the bible passages and of angels, interesting indeed, with the help of Edgar Cayce he brings light to the subject, loved the book will read it again.
