Rate this book
On New Year's Eve of 1917 the life of William Howard Rollins was to change forever as he contemplated a painting of mysterious origins. This practical-minded, hard-driving businessman was about to enter into a world completely foreign to him, but one that would provide him a key unlocking the door to the mystical realms of the past. Rollins would soon learn that his present life was only one of his many lives. The drama of a thousand years of lifetimes would reveal to him the secrets of reincarnation-the soul's rebirth on earth.

This is an interesting little book that uses a fictional anecdote to present Rosicrucian philosophies on the subject of reincarnation. It is well written and it presents some subtle ideas on the subject that I had never considered before. The style of story telling, however, was rather bland. It kind of has the feel of a religious track. All in all, I would say it is a worthwhile read for anyone who's interested in mystical philosophy.

Good gentle initial introduction

Recommended to beginners. Beautifully written, has deep meaningful messages to the ones ready to hear them. A great introduction to the mysteries.
