Review:
A book where the author gives his own opinions, his midnight musings on various topics that concerns India and the Indians. And the topics varying from science to politics, religion to culture, society to sex, from sensitive topics to some current beliefs and many more.

So basically the book is a compilation of author's random thoughts on different topics, from his readings, experiences, some are his biased thoughts, so as readers we can deny them. But in ways these are really interesting to read and think for ourselves about them.

As the topics are very debatable and thoughtful and also the author's writing which is mix with humors and information that makes this non-fiction reads an interesting and engaging one.

No, think a book where the author shares his thoughts on "if alien arrives... " which even does sounds like unimportant and unnecessary, but after reading it, you'll start to think for yourself itself.

So definitely an interesting short book, worth the read.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I recently finished reading this book that delves into some fascinating and thought-provoking topics related to India, the human race, religions, society and the world at large. The book discusses a wide range of subjects, including the possibility of the world discarding Einstein's theory of relativity and the Big Bang Theory, the superiority of women over men, and whether or not India can ever become a superpower.

What impressed me most about this book was the author's bravery in addressing some sensitive topics. The author's honesty and frankness in discussing such controversial issues were refreshing and made for an engaging read. Moreover, the book was very well written and thoroughly researched, making the arguments and ideas presented even more compelling. The language of the book was easy to read and understand, and the presentation of the ideas was engaging and well-crafted. Even those who are not avid readers will find this book interesting and absorbing, thanks to its excellent presentation and ideas.

India and Beyond - Midnight Meditations by Abhaidev as the title suggests contain musings by the author on different subjects which relates to India and beyond. This book can give some nasty shocks to you as it is meant to pulverize some of the myths, beliefs, and established stands. The author has done this deliberately as he believes in voicing his opinions fearlessly. I found the musings and writings of the author very thought-provoking. Questioning the status quo and taking sides is necessary for the growth of individuals, societies, and nations. This book will take you in that direction and will compel you to rethink what you believe and how you act. The author has touched upon various subjects like whether going after something illusive like a “superpower” is necessary for India. Why do we always look towards the West when finding answers to science or philosophy when we have a rich ancient heritage ourselves? Why Pakistan is always in a chaotic state? Is Einstein’s theory perfect? Was Savarkar really sorry as he mentioned in his mercy appeals or was it a clever ploy to get himself free? This book will pose a variety of questions, give answers to some of them, and for the rest will nudge you to find the answers for yourselves and play an active part by voicing your opinions rather than just being watching from a side-line as a mere spectator.

"Thousands of years before Freud proposed his elements of personality—Id, Ego, & Superego, ancient Indians had already come up with even more elaborate distinctions of what makes a person a person."

✓I love reading non-fiction. Its a good source of knowledge. I am always interested to know what opinion are people having on various topics and world affairs and see if those match mine. This is why when I came across this book, I decided to give it a chance.
✓As an Indian, I too have confusion regarding the various questions which have sprung up in the society lately. Questions related to the "Abrahamization of Hinduism", Suicide rates, Possibility of alien invasion, self importance on the country's front and Human need for intimacy. Apart from these questions being answered, the book also comments on and explains various interesting concepts such as Indian Mind Science and Relativity.
✓The best part about this book is that the author has avoided diplomatic statements and has confidently expressed his opinions. The content seems well-researched. The opinions and answers to various topics have been summarized and differentiated in a systematic and well-structured way, making it easy and fruitful to read.
✓The language is lucid and its not a very lengthy read. Reading this book felt like being in a conversation with a very wise man. I'd love to recommend this.

Book:- India and Beyond: Midnight Meditations
Author:-Abhaidev

Firstly, huge respect and great appreciation to the author Abhaidev for writing such a masterpiece of a book. Through the discussion of the story line, in the book were many surprises waiting page after page which made it super exciting. I personally don't like it as it destroys the author's effort of trying to weave a story and giving spoilers is never a great experience for me. However, It is a collection of musings and thoughts on various topics related to contemporary India.

The book consists of 118 pages and 18 Chapters , a unique way of index is shown by the author. I really enjoyed this insightful book. It is so clearly and logically organised as well as being extremely readable. The chapters are easy to negotiate and it flows seamlessly.

The simplicity of the language and the brilliance of the words show the expression of the novel ideas of the author. Moreover, the amount of knowledge that the author has to accumulate to write the book is clear in the author's pen. And I can say with confidence that you will not be disappointed if you read the book.

Hurry up get it for yourself.....

India and Beyond: Midnight Meditations by Abhaidev is a non fiction book which consists of the author's opinion on all things India and beyond.

India is a country where free speech is a basic right and the author has done a commendable job on unleashing all of his thoughts unfiltered and no matter if it is controversial or not.

I appreciate a lot of things about this book but the one I appreciate the most is the honesty of the text.

This is a book which voices opinion and is not investigative in any manner.

In my opinion, the boldest chapter in this book was the one based on suicide. The author talks about how it's not pity that we should feel for those who commit it rather be terrified that how sure they are of the hope that their life would be better in the afterlife. It's a very interesting point really and prompts you to think on it.

Another interesting chapter for me was Physics in Crisis. Gave me a lot to think and examine on.

The whole book might seem like just all things beyond India, but it lives up to the title of India and beyond.

Loved it so much for it's unfiltered, honest and insightful writing.

The author's writing is not only captivating but also humorous, rendering the book an enjoyable read. It's a fitting choice for those who want to delve into the profound inquiries concerning life, society, and our environment.

So well written book..

This book is an articulate account of authors research, study and experience. A perfect top notch book that has a non fictional gripping content about India. From the very first page itself, author has kept a straight forward tone highlighting many topics from the very past to the present system and culture prevailing, around We indians. Indians were far more advanced in terms of technology or civilization since ancient era, but has been pushed back and never got that recognition in many fields.Example the writers of India.

Few lines from authors end -the Hindus of India realized that you can only fight faith with faith. And this helped us to exist.

The other chapter Pakistan the worlds most confused nation, writer has transparently kept the points, about what the actual reason of confusion is all about. There mindset, there thought process that is certainly the reason of concern.

The entire book is well layed down. Reading this book has made me clear about many dots that i was not aware of. It has a well-written text with a good literary style, which makes the book easy to read and digest.

I recently read the book 'India and beyond: Midnight Meditation' by author Abhaidev.
This is not my first read by the author —every time his writing style amazes me.
But this book really left mark on my mind.

If you read the blurb, then I am sure you cannot resist yourself from picking this up.

At first I thought that this book mostly deals with political and administration discussion of Indian democracy but I got the pleasant surprise when I found that it has much more valuable topics other than politics.

The way author has referred different philosofers in order to discuss many important topics like suicide, sex, Communism, spirituality and many more is simply outstanding.

This is a philosophically enriched book that talks about modern issues. it is highly thought provoking.

Author shows a lot of courage in writing on these topics that have been ignored by others.

His efforts behind writing this book is visible in every pages.

I learnt a lot from this book and I really think everyone should give it a read.

This book deals with some topics that we think of in our everyday life. Some basics and some crucial ones.
The author digs deep into his mind and brings us some amazing topics, examples, explanations, or views about everything we know but still don't understand fully.
While reading this book, I could relate to the author's mindset. Like yay that's what I was thinking about or even some of you will think the same.

The writing style of the book was so easy and gripping. The author talks about certain things that different people have different views on.
Har koi ek bat par segment nahi ho sakta hai.
But we should listen to all. Whether we agree or disagree. We should listen.

Although the title and the topics discussed in this book are kinda different. The book is not about India but it talks about the things, mindsets, or perspectives of people (or the author) on different topics.

Whether you agree or disagree, I must recommend you to read this book.
Because it helped me to view some things differently, it'll surely help you (in some way or another)

The book as its title suggests is one dedicated to broadening one's horizon and enabling one such thought process that caters to working on one's own self.

The book is a gift to the reader. And I found myself totally into it. Book aims to be one such an individual which you wouldn't have ever imagined. Every page in the book has so much to offer to its readers. Highly recommended!!!

"The world is incomplete without both men and women. It's time we stop discussing who is better and who's bad."

The book talks about many topics such as Hinduism, India, and things revolving around the country. The author has brought a whole topic about whether India can become a superpower?

There's a whole chapter that talks about Pakistan, which is narrated in the book as a confused nation. A major focus is given to religion and how the two countries have developed. Also, the formation of these two countries has actually had an impact on the entire world and not just the nations alone.

The twentieth century saw an impact of the invasion of English education. It has definitely had an effect on the country people. There is a separate chapter that discusses this in detail.

I would say that a lot of such political topics are involved. So pick it up only if you are into these and like it.
