I absolutely adore Rachael Hale's photographs. 101 Salivations: For the Love of Dogs is full of dog quotes and photo's to delight any and every dog lover. I just love looking at these kinds of books, they're always guaranteed to bring a smile and who couldn't use more smiles? I also enjoy the appendix where we learn a bit more about the individual dogs. If you love dogs, or just need something to smile about this book is for you.

Rachael Hale can honestly do no wrong when it comes to posing and snapping pictures of ADORABLE dogs. My favorite in this book was a poodle mom and puppy wearing rose flower crowns!! The perfect book for putting a smile on any dog lovers face.

This book has quotes and pictures about dogs, with information about each. I liked the cute poses of some of the dogs, but disliked how the author made some of the dogs get into uncomfortable positions.

This is another one of my "if in a bad mood and need to smile" go to books. The photography is amazing and features one of my all time favorite subjects...dogs. There are some cute dog quotes sprinkled through out the book too. My own photography skills and models don't seem to have the patience and skills to catch such amazing shots...but when trying to get inspired to get amazing photos of my boys, this book definitely inspires me.

Sometimes, you just need something to make you smile. This book is one of those that will always brighten my day. It has adorable pictures with dog quotes scattered throughout, and would make a great gift for any dog-lover. It would have a permanent place on my coffee table if my critters didn't keep knocking it off.

I got this book for Christmas in 2004 when I was 10 years old. I remember I would look at this book every day and just dream of owning any one of these beautiful dogs. I drove my Mom nuts begging for them. She ended up getting rid of this book so I wouldn't ask her any more. I wish I still had it. It's a beautiful book.

Wonderful expressive photographs, shows the photographer has an understanding and relationship with the dogs she snaps. Encourages me to obtain that special look that each dog has, their personality shining through unto the page. Rachael Hale seems to do this with ease. Her dogs just jump right out of the page and win your heart.
