Joe Lstiburek is a Guru in the field of building physics and this is a must read book if you are considering building in cold climates (Northern US, Anywhere in Canada).

Riveting!

Ok, not really, but if you want to know the best way to build an energy efficient house buy one of this guys guides. (get the updated version though...2006)

And sadly, I have read this book more than once.
