Pretty good introductory book for someone that doesn't know about lizards. If you're the kind to take notes you'll benefit immensely from this book.

Although it is dry, it is also a good book to bridge the gap between amateur and professional hobbyists. It does have pictures, but it is not a picture book, by any means.
