A book focused more towards young adults interested in reptile behavior and biology or adults looking to learn casually about them, this book gives you all the basics about geckos, monitors, chameleons and other lizards. The photography, while beautiful, sometimes doesn't represent the specimen super well that is being described. You can tell the author was devastated at the death of his friend and co-author the photographer of all the lizards in this book, which adds another depth to the writing.

Lots of great information that was easy to understand. Great introduction for someone just getting into learning about lizards.
