I borrowed this one from the library simply because it has penguins on the cover. It's split into 3 parts of which I only read the first. I didn't read the rest because I understood the point and there wasn't much about penguins anyway. Tom seems to be quite a nightmare child and yet his parents are fine with it. His sister Jane is a compulsive liar and yet this too is overlooked because, much like Tom, she's just a child. They really would get on my nerves were they my kids since the danger they find themselves in is nothing to joke about. Not to mention the danger they pose to the animals they want to tame and keep as pets. I know that the target audience is of a young age but I couldn't help but to read it critically. It is pretty cool to know how easy it is to kidnap penguins. I have cross referenced this btw and they will apparently cause no issue.
