Shuichi Shigeno (Japanese author profile: しげの秀一) is a manga artist, best known for the manga series Initial D. Shigeno has also created Bari Bari Densetsu, Dopkan, and Tunnel Nuketara Sky Blue ("First Love in Summer") all prior to the manga that would make him famous in 1995. In 1985, he received the Kodansha Manga Award in shōnen for Bari Bari Densetsu.
Well the potential with the mom and son instantly went away, he doesn’t want to race but we know he’s going to. This is being set up as the Final Race but it doesn’t feel like it at all. Some older characters popped up which was neat but besides that it’s the standard. Since there’s like 5 volumes left that probably means these last two races are about to be dragged out. Wish we got Natalie back but I’m sure she’s not showing up again, I hope Cole sees the girl again.
