Endangered by Mallary Mitchell is a quick and entertaining novella. The story starts with Nate and Cassie already a couple and unfortunately we don’t get much background on their relationship. It feels a little incomplete because we are missing that history. On the plus side the plot of this novella is an interesting one and there is a bit of mystery and danger mixed in. The romance has some steam and Nate and Cassie’s relationship does evolve into something more during the course of the story.

Nate is a sexy character and Cassie is smart and strong but it’s difficult to picture them. The characters aren’t described in with much detail. You just get bits and pieces that fail to give you a complete picture. Endangered is a good story that has some flaws which ultimately make it forgettable. If you’re interested in a short paranormal romance story that will entertain you but doesn’t have much depth then Endangered is recommended for you.

This is an interesting paranormal romance. Nate and Cassie are appealing characters with good chemistry. Dr. White has very little to recommend her and is very abrasive. The plot is filled with exciting scenes and the mystery, while not difficult, is interesting and kept me reading until the rather satisfying ending.
