Getting through university together was one thing, but when it’s time for Rigby and Brennan to move into their first flat together, other challenges and issues quickly come to light.
Within moments, they have to make their first big, serious, grown-up decision together. What should be their first priority—unpacking all their stuff or trying out their new double bed?
This free short story was first published in Kim Dare’s newsletter in February 2011. It follows on from Time to Do, which was first published in July 2009 by www.totalebound.com. If you haven’t read Time to Do, you may find some elements of this story difficult to follow. It takes place a few months after the original story ended. The inspiration image was chosen by Christine Allen-Riley.

First of all, it was great to see Brennan and Rigby from Time to Do again! I liked them a lot, and watching them discover how their particular variation of a D/s relationship worked was hot.
'Hot in Here' picks up where the first story left us, and Brennan is as panicked and worried and fussy as ever. They have now moved into an apartment together, and he is more nervous than ever. He still believes Rigby might leave him for a girl, and if everything isn't perfect...
Rigby is just as interested in making things perfect on their first day living together, except he doesn't define that as 'all the boxes need to be unpacked right NOW' (Brennan's biggest concern). Rigby has other ideas - and boy, does it get hot when he starts making them a reality...
If you like short, hot interludes with men who are clearly in love, and if you want to find out a little more about what happens next to Brennan and Rigby, this is your chance. it's a great little story - and it's free!

**Update**
After reading Time to Do, which I enjoyed very much, I went back and re-read this short. I definitely enjoyed it much more now that I have a better knowledge of Rigby and Brennan's relationship and how their friendship morphed from love between best friends to love between lovers. Upgrade from 3 stars to 4!

Short story about two buddies (one straight one gay) moving in together. While the sex is graphic, and intended to be hot, I didn't find it remarkable. But then... not every flavor will appeal to every palate.
I'm not sure this one was even intended to be read alone and it's most significant shortcoming for me was the lack of character development and back-story. But... at 13 pages, how much can one expect?
The author has a definite skill and I'm going to check out some of her other work.

A nice epilogue to Time to Do. Brennan still has concerns, but Rigby is slowly convincing him that they are unfounded.

I liked this a lot! I think I got attached to these guys in a short amount of time because I kinda don't want to let them go. But I have no choice because there's no other books with them! lol Cute & sexy story.

Fantastic short story! It's a quick peak back at some of her characters from another series, but you don't have to have read the prior books to follow the story, it will just make it better :)
