This inclusive explanation of near death experiences, both pleasant and not-so-pleasant, sums up research on this set of experiences, and how the accounts and research correlate with the beliefs and teachings of the authorities and scripture of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. The book includes chapters by various scholars, doctors, and counsellors who have experienced NDE's or who have treated people who have reported such experiences. The book has enough narratives to make it fascinating reading, and very informative.
