Great book for organizations who don't have a solid hiring process and want a practical guide to implementing one. The advice here isn't too obvious or basic, but does cover all of the basics that great processes do well. No objectionable or crazy ideas, which is perhaps its weakness... companies that already have a good process and are looking to level up are unlikely to find cutting-edge or adventurous advice here.

The best book I've read about how to hire the right person. To come clean, it is also the only book I've ever read on this topic, so this is how the publisher can quote me on the book cover: "I highly recommend you make this the first book you ever read on how to hire the right person."

Very stiff and rigid. Good for structure but doesn't leave too much room for flexibility.
