Wilde, Nevada is remote, rugged and rough. Jessie feels like she's walked straight into the wild west, complete with some of the hottest cowboys she's ever laid eyes on. But she has a job to do and it doesn't include getting close to the Wilde brothers.
The minute Jackson Wilde sees Jessie he knows she's the one for him and his four brothers, Phoenix, Dallas, Denver, and Austin. The gorgeous city girl calls to him like no one before, but she's convinced she doesn't belong in a place like Wilde. With danger lurking around every corner, Jackson will have to prove that she's finally come home.
A Siren Erotic Romance
NOTE! You are purchasing Siren's newest serialized imprint, the LoveXtreme Forever Series. This is Book 1 of 6 in the The Brothers of Wilde, Nevada collection. These books are not stand alone. Each is a continuation of the previous book and must be read in the numbered order. Each book may end on a cliffhanger but usually with a happy-for-now for the heroine and one or more men. The final book contains a happily forever after for the heroine and all her men.
Chloe Lang began devouring romance novels during summers between college semesters as a respite to the rigors of her studies. Soon, her lifelong addiction was born, and to this day, she typically reads three or four books every week.
For years, the very shy Chloe tried her hand at writing romance stories, but shared them with no one. After many months of prodding by an author friend, Sophie Oak, she finally relented and let Sophie read one. As the prodding turned to gentle shoves, Chloe ultimately did submit something to Siren-BookStrand. The thrill of a life happened for her when she got the word that her book would be published.
3.5 out or 5. This is the first novella in a series about a government investigator who is sent to look into a series of mine mishaps in Wilde, Nevada. It turns out that on of the founding families owns and operates the mine, but the main operating officer is the oldest son, Austin. Jessie finds out that the five brothers are from a polyamorous family and all plan to find a wife who will live with all five of them. However, Austin wants nothing to do with this plan and has made it known that he will be leaving the mine operation in the near future. Almost immediately Jessie's life is threatened--someone wants her away from the mine and from the town. But the attraction to the Wilde brothers is almost overwhelming. This is really not a deep or complicated story, and I think the novella format is waaaaaay too short to really do justice to the story. The multiple partner aspect of the story is what will "drive" the coming novellas--none of them are stand alone and must be read in sequence. I have read one or two other works from Chloe Lang and while her writing skills are evident in this novella, the story is too brief to really develop the characters into multi-dimensional characters that smack of reality. It is a very readable work and I enjoyed it. But I still chafe a bit at paying full novel prices for a novella-length ebook.
Jessica arrives quietly in Wilde, Nevada to investigate a series of mine incidents that could end up shutting the mine down. Hungry from her long drive, Jessica ends up at the only place to eat a bar and meets four of the most handsome men she has ever seen, Jackson, Phoenix, Dallas, and Denver. After a few shots and a couple rounds of pool Jessica, now nicknamed Jessie, gives into her sexual curiosity where these four are concerned.
Jackson is smitten from the very beginning and knows Jessie is the one that could handle all of his brothers, except perhaps Austin who has not met her yet. Jackson has some work to do to convince Jessie she is something special, especially when she finds out he and his family own the mine.
When I purchased this, I didn't read the fine print, there will be six total and looks like one book will be per brother as the main plot line. I gave this one a 3.5 because it kind of just cutoff at the end and now I need to get the next in the series and I have no patience. I liked it so far, Jackson is the youngest of the brothers and kind of like a steamroller, he knows what he wants and he aims to get it. I was most intrigued by Phoenix who is the next story so should be pretty good.
Short hot read. At least for me. I really want a hot cowboy. I loved Jessica's character. She is a real woman in many ways. I truly relate to her. I loved the hot brothers. That's why I stated earlier that I want them. However. It still doesn't get five stars because it's an individual book for the each of the brothers. I don't like to wait to find out stuff. I am impatient. There I admit it.
This is a fun start to a series of novellas. I enjoyed the underlying plot and am curious to see just what is happening there, as well as how the potential romance will pan out. I moved straight onto book 2.
“When in Wilde”…be prepared for hunky cowboys that come in groups, mysterious accidents that are becoming more frequent, and an unconventional love that investigator Jessica Green never realized was possible.
Are you ready for some LoveXtreme Wilde, Nevada style? Jessica certainly has the confidence to think she can handle anything the small mining/ranching town can throw at her. She doesn’t anticipate that including four of the Wilde brothers or almost being run over by a mining cart during her investigation of recent accidents. While the Wilde bunch want only to show her pleasure times four (times five if they can get oldest brother Austin on board) Jessica is there to do a job and doesn’t imagine that the fun will last past the end of her investigation.
Siren’s LoveXtreme line has been a lot of fun for this reviewer. There are some terrifically talented writers contributing to the new line and Ms. Lang is one of them. The Wilde, Nevada series looks to be a fun, sexy and exciting adventure. This story is different from the other LoveXtreme books I’ve read because it doesn’t have a paranormal aspect. The men have reasons for wanting to share a single woman and it plays out very realistically for this story. The romance between the men and Jessie is at the forefront of this first book but you get a taste for the underlying plot, being the mysterious accidents that have started happening at the Wilde mines.
Youngest brother Jackson gets most of the action (literally and figuratively) in Going Wilde. There’s good chemistry between he and Jessie from the first time they meet. Ms. Lang has a clever writing style that keeps the reader engaged from the very beginning. Other brothers, Phoenix, Dallas and Denver make a pretty good impression on Jessie for her first days in Wilde as well but I’m really looking forward to seeing how Austin reacts to meeting her. Austin is portrayed as the loner who plans to get out of Wilde at the first opportunity. Also, he’s into the BDSM lifestyle so that should prove interesting.
I’ll be keeping my eyes open for the next installment from Ms. Lang’s exciting new series. I hope you’ll join me on Jessie’s adventure that is guaranteed to be Wilde!
Oh my, this is the first in a series of six, The Brothers of Wilde, Nevada 1. I wish the other 5 were out now. This story is about Jessica Green coming to Wilde NV to investigate the accidents at Wilde Mining. But what she didn't know was that her hunger might have carried her to the bar and grill across the street from the hotel she was staying at but the sexual hunger that she had for four of the five brothers was the hunger bringing her back to her hotel room with them.
The sexual pleasures the brothers gave Jessica that first night was something that Jessica would never thought could happen. Her ego took a hit when her fiancé ran off with their gay wedding planner. She was 25 and still a virgin, who did that in this day and time? Jackson felt love at first sight when she was sitting on the bar stool waiting to order, his brothers were just enthralled but Jackson took her virginity and knew that he was not going to be able to turn her loose.
A mining accident on the day she was suppose to evaluate the mine caused another sexual encounter with Jackson and Phoenix where two was so much better than one. When it came to all the brothers Jackson, Phoenix, Dallas and Denver were on board but Austin as the oldest was all business. In this first book it came to a cliff hanger that has you wanting more.
Great job, Chloe, I give your first book 5 Tea Cup for keeping my interest from the first word and for the wonderful sinful sex scenes. Waiting and ready for book two.
I enjoyed reading Going Wilde [The Brothers of Wilde, Nevada 1] (Siren LoveXtreme), all about Jessica the Inspector from Washington, DC & Jackson, Phoenix, Dallas & Denver Wilde all brothers who meet at the Bar/Saloon in Wilde, Nevada. Jessica is sent to inspect the Mine that the Wilde Brothers own, since it's had three unexplained accidents in the last three weeks. The author wrote a very interesting story, and the characters make the story come to life. The Wilde brothers go to the bar and make it a point to meet Jessica, and they also bring her home to her hotel room after they play pool with her all night long. Read this story it will make you laugh, sigh, shake your head& cum a bit! It's about a town that shares its women between a group of men, and an outsider who is a complete innocent. Read this series and fall in love with the Wilde brothers, I can't wait to read book two!
I had such high hopes for this book. I went in excited. Loved the town, the concept of a serialized story and even loved the idea behind it. What I didn't love was the lack of connection and emotion in everything. No matter how often I was told the heroine had a connection and overwhelming feelings toward Jackson. I just didn't feel it. I didn't get her feelings toward any of the other men either. The love scenes made me feel awkward and I just wanted them to be over. Another thing that completely threw me was the abrupt ending. I was expecting a cliffhanger and didn't get one. The book just ended. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
I will be reading the next book in the series just because I'm hoping it will get better and I'm curious about what's going on in Wilde, Nevada and at the mine.
Going Wilde is a hot number with four men who ooze sensuality and show one woman how much of a welcome they can give her. Ms. Lang gives us a story that not only involves scenes with a ton of hedonistic pleasure, she also presents us with a tale that has a mystery surrounding the characters. While I found this erotica to be extremely passionate, I did feel as if there could have been more to the story. The ending is a bit of a cliff-hanger which leaves me hoping for more detailed storyline with the next novel in this series. It will be interesting to see where the tantalizing Wilde brothers go from here.
While I enjoy menage books now and then, mostly now...there was something about this book that didnt do anything for me. There was no pull for me between the characters and I can definately say I will not read the next books in the serie. There was no chemistry for me, even with all the description and the words the author used to say just how attracted to each other the characters are. The girl could have lost her virginity to any of the brothers, even if she is supposed to have some deep feelings for Jackson and a second connection with Phoenix...but it could have been any of the guys, even Austin, whom she doesnt know yet.
This is my second time reading that book, it was sometime around 2012 This is very unordinary story, with plurals marriage and relationship it's actually pretty HOT If you are in the mood for Hot sweaty Cowboys that like to share in the bedroom, well that is your type of story. It does help that there is a killer on the loose that is trying to sabotage the mine…. This is #1 book of a 6 parts story and needs to be read in order Hope you enjoy it as much as I did, and the bedroom scene are pretty intense Enjoy!
Jessica arrives in Wilde to investigate a series of mine accidents. Jackson and 3 of his brothers have been given the task of keeping an eye on Jessica by their oldest brother Austin. One look at Jessica and Jackson knows he she is the one for them. With a little bit of persuasion Jessica is up for anything. Now all he has to do is convince his brothers she is the one for them too and get Jessica to fall in love with them all. This was a great first part to The Brothers Wilde series and I am looking forward to reading the continuation.
Going Wilde, the first in The Brothers of Wilde, Nevada series, brings us a love hexagon with six lovers in one relationship. And it’s a formula for hot sex and lots of it. The book is a quick read with a steady and fluid flow. The book ends on a cliff hanger that leaves the reader interested enough to read more. So I’ll pick up the next in the series and see where it goes but I’m not sold on it yet.
Just suspend disbelief and go with the idea that she can truly wrap her mind around the whole concept. This is a new concept, a 6-novella story arc before the entire situation is resolved. With five brothers and a threat to our intrepid heroine, I guess it'd take that long. ;-)
A pretty good start to what looks to be a good series. Looking forward to seeing how all the brothers grow closer to Jessie. This story has all the great makings for a fun series to read. We have the romance plus some action which I love.
I'm not sure I could handle multiple lovers at once, but the brothers Wilde certainly make a girl want yo try! Hot sexy Cowboys, mystery and intrigue, and a whole lot of lovin`make Wilde, Nevada the place to be. Bring on the next instalment!
Hot & Sexy Cowboy Menage town of Wilde, Nevada is one amazing place. If you end up here you're in for an adventure! I'm not talking about Menage of 3-4 people, I'm talking 6-7, 9-10. Ok a bit of an exaggeration but you get my drift!
This being a menagé, Jessie not only got to be with Jackson, but some of the other brothers as well. Going Wilde gets this series off to a sizzling start, which only gets hotter with each book...
Although I am not usually a fan of books in parts this one was great. If you enjoy reading menage erotic romance with a touch of murder mayhem and suspense you will love this series.
