The tale of Dr. Victor Frankenstein and his monstrous creation, written by a young Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley. Contains a short biography and list of additional works by the original story's author. In graphic novel format.
I have always enjoyed the story Frankenstein in its many versions, but have found that many of my students tend to dislike it, at least in its original form. I think this shorter, graphic version may help to give them a new opinion.
Not a bad retelling of the story. Probably good for 10-12 year olds. It was interesting that the cover mimics the Universal Monster style but the story was faithful to Shelly's novel. It's a quick read and simple. The drawings are dark colored and set the mood. I felt some of the drawings were excellent with creating emotions.
This book was a very interesting book. I have been recommended these kinds of books by a lot if people. I has not been a book i have ever read before and it was a okay book. It was kinda random but a okay book. All together i kinda liked it and would recommend it for people that like comics.
