The "Teacher's Book" is part of the "Spirale" course and focuses on the organization of swift and efficient lesson planning. This book includes reproductions in black and white of each page of the "Livre de L'eleve", with arrows linking the pupil's text with exploitation guidance, an accompanying narrative providing suggestions for extension work, outlining drama and role play activities and guidance on achievement and use of "Spirale" with low and mixed ability classes. Also included are transcripts of the listening materials, photocopiable masters of games, puzzles and other activities and a grid matching "Spirale" with National Curriculum Statements of Attainment. "Spirale" is a five-part French course suitable for the 11-16 age bracket and for a wide range of abilities. It is especially tailored to meet the requirements of pupils preparing for GCSE under the National Curriculum and to support pupils working towards Standard Grade in Scotland.
