Not a good biography. Could have been better. Chapter contents are repeated. Did not touch on the controversial issues which are also part of the folklore

A very good book about the story of Dhirubhai Ambani, about how a Shell worker became the richest man in India.

There are a lot of learnings to be taken from this book. However, the book becomes a bit repetitive near the end and the chronology could be a bit better. Hence, 4/5 stars.

धागों से व्यपार शुरू कर के भारत की सबसे बड़ी निजी कम्पनी बनाने वाले दिग्गज बिजनेस मैन धीरूभाई अम्बानी की जीवनी पढ़ने के लिए उत्सुकता तो थी। लेकिन इस अमेज़न पर हाई रेटेड इस बुक को पढ़ने के दौरान लेखक को लेकर थ्री इडिट्स मूवी का एक डायलॉग दिमाग़ में घूमता रहा -"अरे भाई, कहना क्या चाहते हो"।

लेखिका पन्ने भरने के लिए अगडम-बगडम लिखती गई। कभी कहानी में धीरूभाई स्कूल में होते है उसके अगले ही कुछ मिनटों बाद अस्पताल के बेड पर अंतिम साँसे लें रहे होते हैं। उसके थोड़ी देर बाद धीरूभाई बड़े मंत्रियों से सम्पर्क बना रहे होते हैं, उसके थोड़ी देर बाद उनके अंतिम संस्कार में भीड़ जुटने लगती है.. तब तक युवा धीरूभाई क्लर्क की नौकरी करने यमन पंहुँच जाते हैं। अभी नौकरी कर रहे होते हैं की बड़े उद्योगपति के रूप में नरोदा में बड़ी फैक्ट्री खोलने के जिक्र होने लगता है।

लेखिका नें धीरूभाई के किस्सों को लेकर गजब की खिचड़ी बनाई है। किताब का अंतिम हिस्से थोड़ा व्यवस्थित है जिसमें धीरूभाई के बाद मुकेश और अनिल अम्बानी का जिक्र है। लेकिन उस हिस्से तक पंहुचने के लिए दिमाग़ का दही कराना पड़ता है।
