I give this book 4.5 stars. The author is a skilled healer and herbalist. She taught me how to muscle test using her system several years ago. The book is an important reference to refer back to again and again.

I picked this book up at the thrift store a while back just to see if it made any sense to me, or if it came across as superstition.

I have conflicted feelings about "energy" and "asking my body" because when I first heard people talking this way, I thought it was completely delusional, and even a bit sacreligious. But I do have "gut feelings" that I trust. I have come to believe that my intuition is nothing more than listening to inspired promptings. It just feels strange to be "listening" to my fingers rather than through prayer.

Eh, I'm all about taking what I like and leaving the rest. Take what you like and leave the rest, as well.

I really suck at reading "self-help" books. Even though I was totally into this when I first started it and fully intend on picking it back up soon... It's just taking me awhile... and of course in the meantime i've read at least 4 or 5 novels. ha!
