Marcus is the one who "can't get right". He ruins everything he touches and wears his self sabotage like BO after a day of had work and no deodorant. Tis book takes a deeper dive into the world of Marcus and his attempts to put the pieces of his life back together, after effortlessly blowing it all up. Norian Love takes us on a tumultuous ride as we watch Marcus attempt to come to terms with the mistakes he's made in life thus far. Reading about Marcus discovering himself is a breath of fresh air, because we rarely get to read coming of age books about grown Black men. Most books insinuate that adult Black men NEED to have it together and aren't given grace for their errors, this book turns that notion on its head while giving you an entertaining plot with wildly animated characters.

Those Twists Though!

It's like, just when you think a man can't make anymore questionable decisions in his life, cue Marcus. This was a quick yet shocking addition to the Money, Power and Sex series, which I highly recommend if you're interested in some sexy drama! Norian has a way of writing that draws you in, pisses you off, makes you yell at the book, and turns you on all at the same time 😳😂 THEN! As soon as your arousal subsides, BAM! He hits you with the jaw-dropping crazy that leaves you staring at your Kindle like "😲🤯 WTF just happened!?"

MARCUS dives into this character from Norian's Money Power Sex series (highly recommend you read the 2 books prior to this one Book 1 Money, Power & Sex & Book 2 Seduction - then again I'm a stickler for reading books in order lol) ...
This book can definitely be read as a standalone as it dives into life after retirement from the military for Marcus who is also in the midst of relationship challenges. The insight into the male perspective is raw and refreshing. Norian is really good at portraying a realistic view of the
sometimes conflicted perspectives of both sexes. Every aspect of life decisions is hit in this novella as you are pulled into this community. We feel the conflict that Marcus feels as he comes to terms with love, life, his past and his future...Beautifully written....

Marcus is really just trash. Always looking for someone to blame and then wanting to play the victim. And someone please get Holt up out of here?! That lady is delulu and Marcus wants companionship so bad he’ll just take whoever. 🙄
