마라톤 2년차

2nd year marathon
b b b p b b b b b b
Naoko Takagi of the "Marathon Year 1", a record of experiencing the joy of life in a simple run, returned to the "second year of the marathon"! As a marathoner, Naoko, a second-generation cartoonist, who had been a full-time flier for 10 seconds on the walk to the work desk, began to grow gradually as a marathoner. Following the Honolulu marathon, we participated in the second full-length marathon "Yoron (Island) Marathon", participated in a relay marathon running team, challenged trail running up and down the mountain, Gets to know the marathon more deeply. Of course, we still have the same weight, and after the run was over, we did not have to eat reward beer at all!

When I look at the refreshing lace in Yoron Island that was the background of the movie Glasses, I want to run with the fresh sea breeze and see the marathon as a friend to the strangers with the relay marathon. I expect that I will save from free daily life. In addition, from the experience in daily life to dietary therapy, convalescence condition management and honey tips, the information obtained from the experience is a real help in running the marathon. But most of all, what Naoko wants to say is not just marathon skills or new records. Naoko seems to be telling us throughout the run that he is happy when people who meet in the marathon and the cheer they give shine in life, maybe even when they realize that life is not running alone but everyone is running together.

Another great graphic memoir ("comic essays" in Japanese) from Takagi Naoko. While not strictly necessary I would recommend reading マラソン一年生 first, as that's where we first meet her coworkers and running buddies.

Takagi spends her second year running going to all kinds of events - 10ks, scenic half marathons, cheering on friends at the Tokyo Marathon, and running her second full marathon on the picturesque island of Yoron in Kagoshima Prefecture.

Being a series of back to back races I missed reading about her training and tips and tricks from Coach Kin, but oh well. Eminently enjoyable and just the thing for runners and competitive people of any sort.
