True Lies

Rate this book
As mainstream news sources increasingly turn to the lowest common denominator of shock jocks and flag-waving, millions of Americans are getting their information about important global issues from alternative, nontraditional sources. GNN is one of the best.

In True Lies, the writers at GNN uncover the stories that the mainstream media has held back from the American public. From the war on drugs to environmental abuse to what is really happening in the streets of Baghdad, GNN is the resource more Americans turn to when hungry for answers about what is really happening in the world.

I never did like King George II, but now the hatred has advanced to sheer, utter revulsion: The Anti-Christ wears cowboy boots. He has done more to harm the world with his deceit, his promotion of hyper-capitalism, and his rancid patriotism that it makes Stalin and Hitler seem two-dimensional, like junior Macchiavellians. The insidious guile around this man makes me think that the end of civilization will come sooner rather than later. And our apathy will condone it.

The authors take a chapter for each of Bush's doctrines of hate: the Iraq invasion, the stolen election of 2000, the black box voting deception, the manipulation of 9/11 and the inadequacy of the conservative media in covering these smokers. Surely in the name of religion and hyper-Constitutionalism, civilization is exploding.

And I found the web links at the end of the book very helpful.
