Deadeye

Rate this book
In this searing short story, Kerr takes steampunk conventions--alternate history, airship battles, and even an invention of Nicola Tesla--and weaves them into a highly personal tale of a soldier looking for redemption.

Deadeye is the tale of "Deadeye" Wolfson, a decorated civil war soldier making his way home to see his ill father. But a simple trip is complicated by contraband, his fame, and an air battle where Wolfson's life is changed forever.
