The big cities certainly have some big surprises in store for the BSG. Will the girls be able to handle the world of swoony celebrities and unexpected stardom or is it all just too frenzied?
The Beacon Street Girls books are inspired by all the preteen girls I've ever known. I wanted to create a world where girls can go to have fun and learn about who they are, while modeling real-life experiences. The first book, Worst Enemies/Best Friends, explores creating and testing friendships, skewed first impressions, and being the new kid at school. In the end, true friendship conquers all. Welcome to the world of the BSG!
Katherine Greene 235 Pages Katani Summers and Maeve Kaplan-Taylor hit the Big Apple! Katani and Maeve stayin New York with Katani's cousin Michelle to go behind the scenes of a real-live fashion show. Katani was destined to be in the fashion industry and was so excited to be at the fashion show. Maeve is an aspiring actress so she was thrilled to be backstage with real famous models. Maeve woke up late on the day of the fashion show and Katani was furious! This was the most important day of her life and she was going to be late. Maeve procceded to get lost on the subway, run into a famous actor, and get interveiwed by the New York 1 channel. Katani even got to model in the fashion show! Maeve and katani had a great time in New York and it was a great experience for two young girls.

This would be my first read of BSG and I like how it portrays about the typical girls that would exist in every friend group. Everyone of them may has distinct qualities but that does not stop them to have the same value in supporting each other. Even though I may find the plot predictable at times, but I somehow do learnt one or two from them regarding life🫶🏻 (e.g. be true to your own interest, be your own self by not worrying about others’ opinion, know how to stop someone from invading your own safe space etc). Apart from that, it was interesting to notice that the author also included book extras like dictionary and trivia once the story ended. Looking forward to read more BSG books soon!🤭
Wait; did I just actually ENJOY this? I did! In fact, I believe this is the best book since Lake Rescue. Well, didn't see that coming!
After reading Lucky Charm, I wrote this series off as finally dead. But I decided to read this one when I had nothing else to do. I'm glad I did!
Fashion Frenzy actually has an enjoyable and (mostly) non preachy plot. Yes, there is some stuff about not bullying, and yes, it is extremely corny, but it's not over-the-top overdone. It was a fun read, in other words.
I loved reading about Katani and Maeve in the Big Apple. Katani is my least favorite Beacon Street Girl, but I sill loved it when she got one of her scarves featured in the fashion show! (Though it was highly unlikely; but books don't have to be completely realistic!)
I liked this book a lot, which was unexpected. Though this series has become highly unpredictable for me, I would recommend this book to fans of Beacon Street Girls.
I am giving most of these BSG books all 5 stars and to be honest, they deserve every single one. This book was fantastic. It was a feel-good and happy story, just like the ones I love the most. Fashion is a great deal to many girls like myself so a book about it including our favourite characters is just perfect.
Oh, and this is off topic but if you flip to page 215 the editor made a mistake. It is suppose to say 'chance' but instead it says 'cance'!
I loved this book as I love most of the BSG books. Katani and Maeve have adventures in the Big Apple at the same time as the rest of the BSG, Charlotte, Isabel, and Avery are having their own adventures back at home. What it says about models and what I learned about models and modeling in this book will help me for when I learn it, which is soon. ;] . I rate this book 5 stars. ***** . -Signing off, Emma XoXo
When Katani finds a great fashion oppurtunity to go to New York to attend and assist with a Teen Beat fashion show she's pysched. But there's only one downer: SHE HAS TO CHOOSE ONLY ONE OF THE BSG TO GO WITH HER! That's not a problem anymore when the trips canceled. Everything turns out okay when one lucky BSG finds a way to fix the problem! I LOVE THIS BOOK!
Katani is going to New York to be part of a real, live fashion show! But in New York, she has to pick one, and only one friend, how will the BSG come through to save the day?
This is super dreamy and sometimes annoying. But maybe if you're 10 years old this would be a great book. Not my favorite from the series, but it's well written. What annoyed me is that the girls don't really talk to each other about their problems and what they are thinking, and at the end of the book, Sam (Maeve's little brother) said that he rather have a man to change the flat tire than a woman, don't think that was necessary, Sam could have just stayed quiet. (Not sure if it's 2 or 3 stars) Esse livro é super sonhador e algumas vezes irritante.
