more suitable as a reference book, but read through anyway
light in tone, but full of detail, history, and growing guides on a wide variety of plants that can be grown in Ireland. Also has a good introduction on how to establish your garden

very informative, well structured and light on jargon

This is just excellent. It’s great to have a book designed for an Irish climate, more specifically the North West region of Ireland. I’ve recommended this book to my brother also. I’ve picked up quite a few tips for my plants this year.
