It's less lonely with the lights off. If the heart was a distillery, this would not be what it pumped out. But if you were to wring out every cocktail napkin that's sopped up a tear or a spilled drink, it might have a taste similar to the one that these glimpses into a socially challenged and liquidly-couraged young woman's life leave lingering. Among other things, it's a comic about drinking and dating. Awkwardness, anxiety, ninjas and love. Holding hands, expectation and pessimism. Bartending. Daydreaming, over the shirt touching, optimism, existentialism, sex, failure, and hope. Untidily fit into a few poorly drawn squares.
