Born in a small town on the coast of North Carolina to strict parents, Tracy St. John started out as a quiet, shy child. She was typical for her small town: studying hard for good grades, fishing with her dad on Saturdays and attending church on Sundays.

When adolescence kicked in, so did full-on rebellion. School, family and church fell by the wayside as Tracy partied too hard with the wrong people. Somehow surviving her wild-child phase, she pursued several careers before finally settling on video production and writing.

A string of failed relationships prompted her to give up on love…which of course meant fate immediately tossed Mr. Right her way. After only 4 months of dating, she eloped with the love of her life. They just celebrated 14 years of wedded bliss.

Prior to penning her first erotic novel ‘Alien Embrace’, Tracy wrote commercials, television and radio promos, and training films for various government entities.

Tracy St. John now lives in coastal Georgia with her husband and son. She still enjoys fishing, and you’ll often find her haunting train museums with her locomotive-loving son. Besides writing, she also works in video production both in front of and behind the camera. She’s usually cast as the gun-toting bad gal, getting handcuffed in the end. She has no complaints.

Kinky, Horny, Aliens?? I'm on board with that!!

my body is ready

I like this new world that the author has created. Planet Earth has devolved into an uptight, prudish world where woman are punished by death for being rape victims. Everyone is a virgin until marriage. Men are free to intimidate and rape subordinates because women are afraid to report the crimes. They know they will be put to death along with their rapist.

The planet, Plasius
Plasius

Jessica McInness is living on the planet Plasius, in exile from Earth Government. She will be put to death if she returns home. She is guilty of being a sexual being. Jessica is also a dancer and she and her best friend perform erotic dance for the Plasians. On the night of her first performance, the Kalquorian Prince happens to be in the audience with his clan, and they all want her.

Kalquorians
jason

The Kalquorians live in clans of three men, sharing a mate. The Prince's clan is promised to the royal princess, but they share no love or sexual desire with her. But Jessica makes all their blood run hot!!

makeout

Each member of the clan agrees. They must find a way to make Jessica theirs. She is just too precious to let getaway.

makeout

But there are conspiracies and factions that are fighting to keep them all apart. There was an actual plot and I thoroughly enjoyed how it all worked out in the end.

This book was 10x's better than book one of the series. There was action, murder, fighting, and a little abduction. The sex was Hot but not as "rapey" as it was in book #1.

It took many moons for me to get a copy of Alien Rule to review. Sure, I could have quickly gotten it into my hot little hands sooner if I had bought a copy, but after reading the first book in this series, Alien Embrace (here's my review of that one: http://bitchfactor10.blogspot.com/201...), I thought I would just borrow the sequel.

Alien Rule has much in common with its predecessor. We are still in the universe of the Clans of Kalquor. The Kalquorians are still diplomatically warring with the theocratic denizens of Earth, and we have a band of ex-pat Earthers that have been marooned on planet Plasius, where all the inhabitants are sex-crazed (why couldn't *I* have been dropped off on a planet like that instead of being stuck here? My alien parentals must have left me here on Earth as punishment, hrmph!)

This story follows Nurse Jessica, and her intersex friend Michaela as they try to find Kalquorian clans that will take them in and make them brood mares...er, make them "honored Mataras." Because, you know, it's every girl's dream to hook up with a triad of double-donged aliens that will impregnate them with their alien seed. And I'm slightly confused about how well Michaela would have worked out as a child-bearer for a prospective clan-- does she have a viable womb? Anyway, this story is mostly about Jessica and her boys, so I'll touch on Michaela's situation a bit later.

I don't know-- I never took to Jessica in this story, mainly because she is wishy-washy when it comes to the "rapey" scenes in this book. "No means no!" may the hue and cry of women on Earth, but on Plasius, as far as Jessica is concerned, "No means, 'well, yeah, go ahead and disregard what I say, because I really like being penetrated in all my orifices at once, virgin that I am.'" UGH! Not to discount that there are women who out there who have rape fantasies and love reading "romances," that make use of that trope, but argh! this book leans more towards actual rape than dubious consent or fantasy.

My inclination is to be a little more forgiving of Jessica the Virginal because she may be suffering from Stockholm Syndrome or feel rebellious against the puritanicalism of Earth. But Jessica is so hypocritical in this story, that I can't really give her a pass. When Jessica encounters another Earther refugee she excuses taking up with the aliens by saying, "I found it inappropriate to shelter on the transport among men (her fellow Earthers) I do not know the intentions of." Right? It couldn't possibly be that you passed up your own kind so that your mouth, pussy and ass could be repeatedly stuffed by the Three Musketeers, could it? The bitch doth protest too much!

Jessica is bad enough, but potential lover Clajak (hate that name, btw)takes the cake. Clajak is a grade-A asshole, through and through. Throughout most of the book, he does not take responsibility for his actions-- not as an heir to the Klaquorian throne, and not as a suitable love interest in the triad that wants to "woo" Jessica. Dewd can not control himself, of course:

Your sex (Jessica's) yields to penetration yet clings to mine with such a grip that I must fight for control every moment."

Poor, poor Clajak. He's a (willing) slave to the coochie. Jessica just has a pussy that forces Clajak to misbehave. And, scarily, he goes easy on forcing himself on Jessica because "it was a shame she was too small to fuck properly." *shiver* Thank Goddess Jessica is muy pequeno or that lovemaking could have turned all kinds of nasty (or nastier...). Yes, it all Jessica's fault-- she is preventing Clajak from being nice to her, and therefore he has to go all rapist to get her to submit.

Clajak isn't the only douche in this equation-- his clanmates Egilka and Bevau agree with Clajak that they can and should "resort to coercion and punishment," as effective dating tools to win over Jessica. You know, just in case the penis-times-two-times-three action doesn't work.

As if the rape theme was not enough for Jessica and Crew, there are other instances of dub-con in the story. I don't want to be too spoilery, but Tracy St. John seems to have a fascination with younger girls being raped. Even though Jessica is an adult, she is often referred to in girlish terms. And I think substituting an under-aged "alien" for a "human girl," in another scene is a thinly veiled and despicable ruse to use the violation of a child for erotic entertainment.

Anyhoo, you can guess how this all ends up-- Jessica learns to love the triad; the boys don't have to resort so much to rape to express their love for Jessica after she finally gives in to them. yada yada yada. There's nothing unexpected here about how things turn out for Jessica and posse. What is surprising is that there is so much growling when characters are aroused or having sex (to be fair, the Kalquorians seem to growl at other instances, too, like when they are showing disapproval of political leaders). I'd guess that there are at least 50 instances of growling with the boys-- and even Jessica starts doing it! I've been doing this sex thing for some 30+ years now, but I haven't encountered all that much growling. I must be doing it all wrong-- like, with humans, to start, hehehe. The repetition of certain words and phrases was driving me batty in this story, as was the repeated fuckings. Hey, I thought there were more possible variations of having four people have sex with six penises, four asses and one vagina between them-- but apparently, no, it's the same ole, same ole.

Ok, I didn't absolutely hate this book. I kinda knew what I was getting into since I read the first one in the series. I do like that bellydancing figures into the story, since that's one of my hobbies. And, Michaela's intersexualism adds interest to the story, but I couldn't help but cringe at how self-hating she was throughout most of the story. Michaela's lack of self-worth is somewhat understandable, given Earth's non-acceptance of intersexuals, but Michaela's constant moments of insecurity started to make me share that opinion of her. She almost had ME convinced of her worthlessness. I wouldn't mind Michaela having her story in the series, because I'd like to know how she works out with her clan (hmmm, what happens when there are SEVEN penises, instead of six...).

Ok, enough blathering about this book. Bottom line: this book entertains the notions of rape and dubious consent far too often to be enjoyable. Fans of the series, though, probably wouldn't shy away from this one. Everyone else, though, could (and probably should) give it a pass.

This is the follow-up book to 'Alien Embrace'
ISBN13: 9781603944595

I would recommend reading that book first, as many characters from the first book are sporadically in this one. With at least two books about the same aliens vs. earth, I am not sure why there is no series designation to this... I hope there will be more stories along this path, as these both were very enjoyable reads, and I will surely buy any more sequels that are published.

This book is primarily about Jessica McInness, the nurse from the Earth battle cruiser we met at the end of 'Alien Embrace'. She, and most of her crew mates, have chosen to stay on the planet Placius after their Captain was killed by the Kalquorian Breft. In fact, there is no 'Earther' willing to take the ship back home. Earth has now blockaded Placius, and war between Kalquora and Earth is a real possibility.

The Kalquorians are a dying race due to a virus that has rendered most of their females infertile. However, the genetic similarities with humans make Earth females the only other option for the males from Kalquor to have families.

Jessica and her new friend/former crewmate Michaela are each looking for a Kalquorian clan that wants a Matara. In the meantime, Michaela teaches belly dancing to Jessica, and they become good enough to dance at special ceremonies held by the Placian Saucin.

At one of these, where several Kalquorian clans are in attendance, Jessica (who is still a virgin) is 'taken over' by Clajak, the Crown Prince of Kalquor, with his aphrodisiac bite to the neck, and without her knowledge that his clan is already 'promised' to join with another Kalquorian woman as their Matara. Jessica reacts with anger and humiliation that her virginity is gone and that she was 'used' by Clajak as a sex object. But, she can't go back to Earth because she is now a wanted criminal, and she doesn't trust any Kalquorians enough to look into another clan... what's a girl to do???

Well, this is an erotic romance story, folks, and one thing leads to another as we know...

* Earth virgins seek security (and maybe love)
* 3 Crown Princes lose their minds
* several attacks from bad guys
* sex, sex sex scenes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is actually enough of a good story here to leave out 'some' of the sex scenes (maybe just shorten some with more individual time for the guys). After all, a m/m/f/m group takes up a LOT of pages!! The general story isn't yet resolved, so I look to at least one more book.

I can't remember how I came to have this book on my Kobo. It might have been during that frenzy of a new ebook reader owner... downloading content with gay abandon. Anyway, I thought I'd read it and move on.

This book was ok. It wasn't too exciting, it wasn't boring, it wasn't offensive. It kind of reminded me of a mainstream Harlequin Romance, except for the erotica aspect. I have only recently read any books with menage elements so this book, with three males, each with two penises and one woman was a bit of a stretch of the imagination. If you took out all the lengthy sex scenes, it would be a decent sci fi story. Entertaining the way an episode of the original Star Trek is. I love the original Star Trek and pretty much any Star Trek that came after so you can judge me as you will!
The author had a good framework for a story with protagonists, antagonists, somewhat psycho plotters, a world in chaos etc. It might have been a stronger book without as much emphasis on the sexual aspects.

I think the writing style was smooth and well done. Tracy St. John has a lot of potential and I hope to see more from her.

3.5 stars Okay this one was better than the first book in my opinion.

Jessica is the nurse that escaped Earth's spaceship in the first book. She's looking for a clan to join and through miscommunication, mostly Clajak's fault, she gives the virginity she was saving for her clan to Clajak who is already engaged even if it's to someone he really doesn't want. Bevea, Clajak's clan mate, is upset with Clajak because of this. Egilka thinks he should have been able to save their own women from infertility and thinks giving in to the Earth women is a cop-out. After all this, though, Jessica feels like enough is enough and she'll just give up on this clan business.

There was sexual persuasion but it wasn't done with faked regret by the men. This time Jessica was a willing participant. That made such a huge difference to me in this book compared to the first one. I'm planning on reading book #3, because it seems this series is getting better and better.

Alien Rule is book two in Tracy St. John's Clans of Kalquor series and it is awesome! Book one, Alien Embrace set the stage in this world and book two ramps it up!

We first met Jessica, an Earther, in book one, in her job in the military as a nurse. Earth has since deemed her for execution. Given no other choice, she trains with her best friend Michaela to perform a dance, and hopefully entice a Kalquor clan to save her. Kalquor clans are looking for Earthers to make Mataras of their clans after a virus decimated the female's fertility on Kalquor. Earthers have been shown to be a good match and the very existence of Kalquor is in the balance.

Each Kalquor clan is made up of three Kalquor races: the Dramok-the clan leader, the Imdiko-the clan nurturer or healer, and the Nobek-the clan protector. They add a Matara as their clan female to give them heirs. The Matara's are held to the highest honor. Jessica does catch the eyes of the clans in attendance, especially one of Prince Clajak's clan. All three men are taken with the spitfire and soon want her for themselves. But they have a problem. Clajak's clan has been promised to a Kalquor woman. There will be hell to pay in keeping Jessica for themselves, but all feel she is worth the risk.

I totally fell in love with Clajak and his clan, Egilka and Bevau. All three had their strong points and collectively they were oh so hard to say no to! Jessica fell hard and fast! I see why! Their attentiveness is the first thing you notice and then their kind and loving ways. Plus the sex is outta this world-literally!! Kalquor males have been blessed with an extra appendage and they use them to the best of their ability! I would think taking care of three men with rather rampant sex drives wouldn't be for the weak and Jessica proves she's got the right stuff!

The story is sound! The Prince's clan is poised to take the throne of Kalquor and they must make the people want Jessica as their empress. Yes there is a ton of sex in this book, but there is a lot of story too! It has been re-written from the original version and has added another hundred plus pages! There is mystery and battles and sex oh my!

If sci-fi is your bag, then you must read the Clans of Kalquor series. I totally fell in love with it and I am sure you will too!

I have to say, after reading the first book in this series, I was really worried about diving into the rest. The first had some very violent sexual themes that not only made me uncomfortable, I wondered how the heroes could do what they were doing to her (basically forced seduction) even after they knew her past. You can use the whole lost in translation theme, which is pretty much done, but you can only do so many of those in one book, before it just doesn't wash.

However, I was intrigued. The sex was hot in book one, the concept was pretty unique, so I tried book two, because I kind of own them all.

I wasn't disappointed with this book. They even had public sexual encounters, which I LOVE!

I believe the author did something better in this story. The alien men were more likable, and the female was more willing to be part of their clan. She pushed back when she realized they were already arranged to marry another women, however, none of the men wanted that other female. It was a set up from birth so to speak. I felt like Jessica was just a stronger female lead in this story, and went really well with the three men she was paired up with. As a whole the writing was more smoothed out. The world building continued and they actually took us too the planet. Political intrigue, plots to assassinate, and really really great sex scenes made this installment a wine for me. I am really glad that gave the author and this series a second chance. I can't wait to read the rest.

This was enjoyable overall. Good SciFi with lots (and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of sex). I did enjoy that Jessica was not quite a doormat and that she grew to understand sex with pain turned her on I still felt strange at times with the zero to sixty behavior from virgin to, well, decidedly not virgin. At first I did not like the clan and their about face felt a bit off but I did end up liking how they turned out once they settled down. My main thing here with a 3 star vs. 4 or 5 is that there is simply too much sex and the sex is often indistinguishable from one person and one scene to the other. Three men with two cocks each should make for some really interesting, varied, and kinky options but it has this same-o same-o feeling to it. To me the missing ingredient is some hot mano-a-mano action. I just didn't buy that these guys, who had all had plenty of sex with each other previously, all the sudden give it all up. That is my main issue with these - and probably a much bigger problem because I read the MMM prequel prior to starting any of the one's with the women. I LOVED To Clan and Conquer and felt like the relationship between the men was so rich and so hot - and now it's all about the woman and, IDK, I'm kind of "ughhh" yuk. Still I did like it - I'd of liked it better without the female because it was SOOO all about her. You really don't get to know the guys too well at all - everything is always so focused on the woman.

I'm going to continue the series - but so far the 1st and second books are not anything super stellar to me. The MMM one, again, ROCKS it completely and is far hotter and more arousing than this one to me.

Tracy St. John writes dub-con, and her kalquorians like to force human women to accept them. That's ok. I have read other books from this series before this one, so I was ready for that. But this was so much different from them. For most of the book, they only wanted to toy with her. They were terrible and she was also terrible for liking it in my account. They kept having sex with others. They kept insulting her. And they had a fiance while doing all that. I don't care about their beliefs that fiances can fuck whomever they want until getting married, that is their society. But how could she do it? Of course the fiance (kalq. woman) was a very nasty bitch. Well those cheated on women always been referred to as nasty bitches by their asshole partners and their consorts, that is not new. And that was really classy of them to make fun of her behind her back.
There was an intersex in the story and I loved it. That is not something you see a lot in romance books. That was the only thing I liked.
And writer kept referring her body parts as "her dancer legs" "her dancer abs" bla bla, that was weird.
I do not understand how could she have grown up to be such a slut in that environment. And I read the books with her sister., I know her family. She couldn't be a part of them. But family members can be really different I guess.
There were references to underage sex. I hate it when that happens.
There was a strong racism. I also hate it.
I hate this book.

This is probably my favorite book of the series so far. I accidentally started with book 3 and had to backtrack a bit.

Jessica was the nurse on the starship cruiser that was meant to take Amelia Ryan back to earth in book 1. After things got a bit crazy Jessica seeks asylum on the planet of Plasius. Her stay at Plasius was meant to be a temporary asylum since her primary goal became to clan up with the Kalquorians.

I think I liked this book more for several reasons.

1. The writing was much better.
2. The characters were well developed.
3. The plot flowed really well.
4. The plot was well developed. You get a better look into the Kalquorian world and their government.
5. The relationship between Jessica and her clan and Michaela and her clan felt more loving, balanced and respectful.

Overall it was a very enjoyable read. It is definitely steamy for all those needing some heat in their reads BUT all these scenes seem to be a repeat/clone of the last get together. It's becoming something of a "same ole, same ole" for me at this point.

Just finished this book and war will soon take place in the books to come, The Eathers have decided to go to war over the women taken or who have willingly gone with the aliean Kalqorians, A ancient race believed to be related to humans just a bit bigger, stronger and well more superior in every way and I mean every way.... This book was fast paced and leads to the next books in the series which of course will lead to the earth being no longer enhabitable.

plasain A planet of peace still holds a Earth battle ship in statis left from the last book for first one in this series, A fight started over one woman who became pregnant by the Kalqorian clan in the first book. Earthers came to kill her since sex is pretty much a death penalty unless used in marriage for breeding only. And Earth is under one world government.

This second book focus will be on two ladies left on the battleship who fled with help of plasains. One Jessica McInnis and the other Michaela Blake, There hopes are to find a Kalqorian clan to claim them and remove them from this current planet due to the threat of war from Earth, Seems Earthers still want to fight every body in the solar system even in the future over sins of sex even..

both women have become good friends and both find clan mates but Jessicas Clan are princes 3 of them and they are promised to a woman back on their home planet but they do not like her nor does the woman they are to clan with like them, After meeting Jessica they all fall in love with her and it goes from there.
Remember Earthers loyal to Earth still reside on Plasain since the battle ship they came in on is in statis and no police are on this planet. So when the loyalist see the to earth women in sin 'in their eyes' they plan to kill them and attack them. The clans come to the rescue but Jessica has been Critically hurt so read for yourself.

This book series is basically about a alian race who are dying out. Their females are infertile. So earth women are their only hope but with the way earth religion has taken over they would rather kill their own people then to let them live freely any where or on any planet so each book is in the midst of war and life and death are very present, there are many funny parts in these books and lots of sex so if you cannot handle the sex don't read I find it very enjoyable to read and would lvoe to go to visit a Kalqorian clan ;-)

So read for yourself. .

Jessica was a nurse on an Earther ship that got stuck on another planet. Now she and her friend Michael-Michaela are getting ready to do some belly dancing so that they can attract the Kalquor clans that are there looking for Earther Mataras.

One of the clans she sees when she is dancing doesn't seem to react to her when she's dancing, and when she's off stage she sees two of them talking and laughing about something when they are looking at her, which really hurts her feelings. So she's bound and determined to stay away from them.

After the performance, when she's brought to the leader of the clan, they get their freak on. The next morning, she assumes that they are wanting her to join their clan since that was the point of the performance, but when he tells her that his clan has an arranged Matara that they will be clanning with they return to Kalquor, she gets very, very angry with him because she feels used and terrible, especially since he was her first time. Earth's restrictive government, which would kill her if they could, just for having sex, let alone having sex with an alien, has sent out propaganda for her entire life about how evil having sex outside of marriage is, and now she's done it. So she tells him to get stuffed and walks away.

Lots and lots of really interesting things going on in this book, and I felt so sorry for Norpak.

So Jessica finds out that Clajak after taking her virginity is already betrothed to another woman and just wanted to toy with a human before claiming his assigned mate. She then proceeds to keep having sex with the rest of the clan because they tell her they are allowed to have sex with anyone until they claim their mate. 🙄🙄
I don’t understand how the heroine keeps having sex with men who continually disrespect her and even have sex with other women, not my cup of tea. And don’t get me wrong I’ve read books with some non con or straight up rape, and still enjoyed it, I’ve even read the first book of this series and still managed to enjoy it. This one? No ma’am, it’s too much disrespect allowed in the name of lust for me.😒
Jessica says one thing and then acts the opposite. She acts offended and the next hour gives herself on a plater to be used. It’s like she doesn’t have a mind of her own. I’m not reading a book where I hate the characters. That’ll be a wrap for me, not finishing it and no regrets at all. Makes me wanna skip the whole series to be honest.

I don't understand how a book with rape worshipping can get so high overall rating! The only message through the book is that woman are sex toys for men to enjoy at their whim and have no rights to refuse or get upset about being raped.Because if the woman even dares to suggest disagreement to being raped and used, she deserves to be humiliated and punished until she recognizes herself for meat hole the men treat her as.The rest is far between and barely any story at all.No plot except for one how to properly break a woman mentally by raping her non stop.If that is what reader is looking for, then it may explain the high ratings.Writing is still really bad and all rape scenes are just endless repeat of each other- Copy;Paste.

Although this book was written before the clan beginning ones and that it has a slightly different target audience, I couldn't help but be disappointed about the interactions of the males in the clan with each other. Though to be fair I had literally just finished reading how their clan had came to be formed.
In alien rule it felt like they were just friends with benefits which was vastly different feeling then clan and crown. For example in alien rule Clajak referred to Egilka as having hurt his dearest friend while in clan and crown he was referred as his deepest love. So going from one tone to the other just didn't feel like I was reading about the same clan. So this personally brought my enjoyment of the book down.

What a great book! I love the intricate storyline. This author weaves a fantastic story! I love the way Jessica shows her spunk and sass. I love how she did not back down when cornered and even protected herself when she was taken. I am eager to read more of this series!!

I enjoyed the first book in the series (to a point) enough to try this second one. And I think this is it for me. Honestly, I found myself skipping most of the sexy times toward the end because they all seemed either too rape-y or too much alike. I liked the politics of the story line better than the erotica.

Very hot read

An excellent plot. Some of the male actions gave me pause, but in the end they all redeem themselves. The war with Earth seems extreme, and more information about the religious fanatics would have been great.

This is the 2nd book of the series and I can say I loved it :) I think it's not as hardcore as the first one and with a better and more detailed plot, maybe that's why is my favorite so far. I can't wait to read the next one!

Loved this one

Jessica is as strong woman, with a good heart. Her friendship with Micheala was great. This one had the romance, but way more action, which I enjoy. I liked this book better than the first in this series.

The first half had me wondering about the author's maturity level. It got a little better as it progressed. Although it started outflow, the story itself was good.
