It was scary for to read and sometimes very frustrating. During the same period, horrible things happened in Europe as well as in Japan.

This is another text that is aimed at EAL learners (English as an additional language). This is an inspiring story of a factory owner during the Holocaust of WWII who does everything in his power to save his Jewish workers from their deaths at the hands of Adolf Hitler and his Nazi regime. Although this is an incredibly sad and shocking story (based on a true story I might add!) the goodness of the human spirit shines through it.

There is a very good film of the same name, although I wouldn't recommend that you see it unless you are around 15 years or older. As this is a simplified text, the writing is not always spectacular. However, the power of the story shines through, making this enjoyable for many readers.

It's an incredible story. I just knew about the real circumtance in world war two. It was terrible. The jews was so suffered and i so enjoyed this book. I even close and open the book while i reading this, imagined about the 1933-1945 life. Thomas Keneally and Nancy Taylor has brought me into the war. And i should say that i want to be a hero like Schindler, helping other as many as he can, and no matter what religion they have, humanity is ours.

I read this book due to its fame- it was well worth it. Quite a small book, a reminder again of the evil of WW2, but also those people who were able do some good and helping others to survive at gt personal risk .

Was Oskar Schindler perfect? No, but his 3 years of courage made him a hero to humanity.
