Bolje i katastrofalno loš Sclavi nego ikakav Recchioni.

The plot is far too far-fetched. Like real far. I might have appreciated the comical irony of the first twist, but the second twist definitely ruins it.
Also, sorry to nitpick, but the death penalty was abolished in 1969 in Great Britain, so I’m kinda pissed to see someone being hanged in the late 80s. I suppose that didn’t suit Sclavi for his story, but I don’t care; it’s up to him to come up with a plausible solution.
The artwork is also decidedly bland and doesn’t help to make it any more palatable.

"Obsession" isn't so much a story about Dylan Dog as it is a story about Julia Brown, a very good friend of Dylan. Julia was a Scotland Yard officer tasked with a very specific case: she had to arrest Lawrence Price, the so called "Black Widower". Lawrence had killed several wealthy spouses one after the other and inherited quite a fortune. Thanks to Julia, he was arrested and condemned to hang. After some bad PR, she resigned from Scotland Yard and became a private eye instead. Some months later she starts having "visions", though... and starts seeing Lawrence here and there. She feels like the ghost of the hanged man is after her, and she refers to Dylan Dog for help. But even he has trouble believing the story... Until Julia starts not only seeing Lawrence, but also killing him... repeatedly...
A fantastic story, loved every moment of it, brilliantly drawn, with memorable characters, this is a great Dylan Dog issue. Have at it! Six times or more! ;)
