I'm going to try these on my pupper! I will update if we succeed or struggle (but that won't be the books fault).

This is a really good introduction to clicker training and basic obedience training.
It provides a good breakdown of the training moves and how to acheive them. I used this book to brush up on my basic skills but also to advance to more tricky things, like shaking a back paw!
I like the way it's broken into steps with handy hints and tips to help your dog.
However it does not go in to much detail if your dog does things that are not mentioned in the book... like my dog does.
As with all dog training you will have to adapt the exercises to suit your own dog, but this is a good place to start.
