old Winchell manor has been abandoned for years and will be torn down. Abby decides to go and take a look inside. She finds a hidden tunnel filled with antiques, the manor is beautiful and she goes on a quest to save it. Her sister is busy teaching bible study, with an amazing teenage helper. They are also concerned about their minister having the chance at a new job out of state.

On the cutesy side - Christian fiction about a mysterious house on one of the San Juan Islands. As the history of the house is unveiled revelations as to it's historical value are known. Lots of references to the birds on the islands as one of the sisters is in that field.
