He notices curious writings carved into the surface, which, upon closer inspection, reveals clues leading to a magical quest Shortly after his discovery, Jack meets a dwarf named Trobate, seeking his help on the very same quest that he had discovered earlier. Jack, his granddaughter, Abigail, and her best friend, Ethan, soon find themselves on a mission to rescue the goddess, Ophelia, and destroy the evil sorceress who threatens to conquer all of Xenitha. from the first page this book already make people wonder..Good family book but the ending is a bit sad because the 3 person did not get to say goodbye to their friend and well someone turn to stone...;(....Its like Narnia story ...its all start from a quest in the real world to the fantasy world..
