My most favorite book in the whole world.

Maddie didn’t like that the puppies are described as fat, but we talked about how fat is also cute. But calling a puppy Fatty is maybe a bit much.

An early reader book. Even so, this story is a little better than most. A little girl has a dog who has a litter of puppies. The little girl wants to keep all the puppies, but her mother has found homes for all of them. The girl learns that that is a wise move given all the work the girl has to do to care for them. She rediscovers the love she has for her dog.

The girl was waiting for the puppies. There were too many puppies when it popped out. And the girl wanted to keep the puppies. And then they gave the puppies to some other other people, but they kept the mommy. -by Felicity

She had too many puppies and the puppies grew and grew. One of the puppies I thought was cute.

Love this book! The story is really sweet and the illustrations are absolutely adorable! It was so fun to read this because it brought back so many memories of our recent experience with 7 puppies.
