An enjoyable book for our family read time tonight.

A penguin is unhappy with his life at the zoo until one day a toy penguin is dropped into his enclosure. The toy penguin tells him about the North Pole which is where Father Christmas lives. They escape and make it to the North Pole but there are no penguins anywhere. Father Christmas says that’s because penguins live in the South Pole and he takes the penguins there on Christmas Eve. This is a lovely winter story about friendship and a sense of belonging.
