Heartfelt, touching, came for the plot, stayed because the kid kept asking what each Dino was. I will now be accepting my diploma in paleontology

I hadn't found one of these dinosaurs books that I didn't like - until now. And it's not even that I don't like it, it's just not as good as the others. I can't quite put my finger on it, if it's the rhymes or what. My two year old loves this series and I usually have to read the book four or five times in a row. Even she just got up and walked away after one reading.

I really love this series! This book was silly while teaching children how to behave at a birthday party. It also does a great job of introducing children to different types of dinosaurs.

Note: this is not my review but the review of my daughter who can't have her own goodreads but does love herself a book! Therefore I will be writing them for her. She is currently 6 months old.

YES. A BOOK ABOUT DINOSAURS HAVING A PARTY. THIS IS BABY'S EXACT FAVOURITE TYPE OF BOOK. (Mom also found it quite charming)

How Do Dinosaurs books are a fun series of books for your dinosaur loving young reader. The rhyming text, variety of dinosaurs, and the classic illustration of the parents make this a fun book to read. Quite a few of these books have had my husband and I laughing out loud or remembering a time the exact same thing has happened in our home.

Going to get into some really heavy (and possibly) depressing reading soon, so I thought I would pick this book up to kind of help me 'center' myself. Dino books (for me) are a way to go back to a place and time where I can reconnect with my inner child. This BB is all about what you should do when hosting a birthday party - don't become 'T-Rex-able' with your guests!

Nice for teaching kids I guess, but I was raised on books that had more of a story than just rhyming instructions. Wouldn't choose this one for my nephews, however, not saying it's bad. Drawings are cute, too. I had this read to me by Gal Gadot on YouTube.

Cutesy book for Natalie's birthday. You can learn fun dinosaur names while learning how dinosaurs would behave at a birthday party. Totally factual, of course.

I am a fan of How DInosaurs Say Goodnight but it was my birthday so my friend got me this. I. LOVE. IT. No shame in an 18 year old who still reads this book.

I hadn't heard of this series until we stumbled on the birthday book. It sounds like this was not the best one to read first. It was cute and a bit silly.

My son loved this book - he got it for his first birthday, and laughs hysterically every time I open it.

My wife turned this book into our son's 3rd birthday "guest book". A treasure he will cherish for years to come!

Our son just had his second birthday so I picked this up at the library. Cute but not quite relevant to him yet. We didn’t have guests for his birthday…

Cute little board book about dinosaurs celebrating their birthday: are they rude and crude, or kind and polite to their party guests?

By the way, the dinosaur's parents are humans.... wha?????

I bought this book to read to Trent on every birthday, and I cannot believe that today is the first one! I decided that this was the perfect birthday book because it is super fun to read, has great dino illustrations by Mark Teague who is such a great artist, and it even teaches a nice message that will be a perfect reminder at each birthday. I am so excited to share it with him for the first time today (and his 1st birthday party is dino themed, so it’s perfect!).
