Visions from Within the Mechanism: The Industrial Surrealism of Jeffery Scott

Rate this book
Book Description Is this the work of a visual genius or a visionary madman? Or both? Jeffery Scott is a photographic liar. The stunning and hyper-realistic photography presented here is not captured in real time, but through a laborious process of manipulation. Each picture represents an average of fifty hours of meticulous work in which elements are assembled from dozens of images to construct the combined whole. Mr. Scott conjures amazing characters, environments and situations that thoroughly blur the line between the real and the imagined. Layer upon layer of information reveals in-depth philosophies, concepts and stories. Thought-provoking titles communicate ideas between artist and viewer. This is a stunning introduction to deep emotive and contemplative realms. 96 Pages. About the Author Jeffery Scott (1019) creates photographic images that stretch boundaries and redefine standards, juxtaposing light and darkness. For the last twenty years his artistic life revolved around painting, sculpting and production design for music videos, commercials and motion pictures. In November 2002, in an effort to produce a more exacting science behind his artistic vision, photography became his exclusive medium. He currently lives and works in Los Angeles.

Jeffrey Scott a.k.a. 1019 is visionary madman. He takes models from still photograph and adds in special effects beyond imagination.

From machine cyborgs, to what death may bring and military visions. Oh and Don't forget

TITS & ASS, beaver shots, but I was also looking at the amazing work of art.

These are exquisitely executed images but—and I’m no prude—they border on snuff porn. Taking apart the female body only to put it back together in grotesque, eroticized violence distracts from the beauty of the works. I was both impressed and disappointed.

Compelling, if a bit repetitive, collection of erotic photography that brilliantly utilizes photoshop and crosses a number of subgenres.
