The most anticipated sequel...has readers drooling from the mouth! In Dirty Divorce Part 1...the Sanchez family ended with a bang. Lisa, Rich, and Denie all fought treacherously to escape a harsh death sentence. Only time will tell who had the heart to survive. Dirty Divorce Part 2 starts off with drama and violence as Rich learns that his son, Juan is dominating an industry where he used to be top dog. After grinding all his life, the fast money, and numerous women land Rich in a place where his only son has turned against him. For the first time in Rich's life, money can't solve the problem....and it certainly can't keep the ruthless, Renzo off his ass. Just when Rich thinks Lisa will take it all in their final Divorce proceeding, his life may soon be ending too...Beware!!
The Sanchez clan is back in Miss KP’s highly anticipated sequel The Dirty Divorce 2. Lisa and Rich’s divorce petition is in front of a judge and the gloves are definitely off as they spar against one another. Part 1’s cliffhanger surrounding Denie is immediately addressed in the opening chapters, while Juan is left to deal with the repercussions of his arrest throughout book 2. Marisol and Uncle Renzo are still investigating Carlos’s disappearance while Lisa and Rich desperately try to keep anyone from finding out about their parts in it.
While reading book one I was admittedly on team Lisa, desperately pulling for her to escape Rich’s abusive grasp. However by book two Lisa’s previously weak and whiny character had sunk to new lows, so much so that at one pivotal point in the book I wanted to assist Rich with kicking Lisa’s behind!
Instead of getting some much needed closure to the Sanchez family drama Miss KP has chosen to go another round, setting readers up for part 3. If the series had ended at part 2 it would have garnered a 4 star rating. But dragging out what could have easily been summed up in perhaps a two page epilogue to an additional novel full of unlikable characters is just too much for this reader to bear.
It's an attest to Author Miss KP writing skills that she can evoke such a strong reaction to her characters. This reader just wished that she would utilize those skills on a new venture instead of following the urban book industry's latest trend of trilogies and never-ending sequels. Which is why this reader is stopping at book two, that is unless I'm assured that the entire Sanchez clan will die horrible deaths in book 3.
This book was just as great & scandalous as the first! As things get worse between Lisa & Rich & they divorce, a new life enters into the picture. Rich spends more time with Marisol while Lisa finds a new love interest. Lisa's drug use increases, family members begin to die. Lisa & Rich console each other during their loss when an old but familiar person arrives. As emotions are flowing, another secret is revealed that no one saw coming. Another page turner that keeps you craving to read more.
OMG! Dirty Divorce 2 was off the chain, amazing, hot, fiyah! I'm not even going to tell the book because I know that other people didn't read it. But Miss KP did the damn thang again with her work, her pen and is str8 fiyah I can't wait until Dirty Divorce 3 comes out. But I will say about this book it as shocking t had me on the edge of my seat, that I couldn't even put the book down. It really had brung back memory about who was who like Rich and Carlos being real brothers but nobody knew about it until, Renzo expose the truth about that he couldn't have kids and his wife had cheatted with his brother. Then the affair with Lisa and Carlos and she thought Carlos was her baby daddy. Also Marisol and Rich also was having affair that nobody knew about she also had a secert for all these years nobody knew. Juan thought that his best friend Kwame was true to his but later founded out that he want hos head after what Rich did to his uncle Mike, everything became a roller coaster ride for evey body. Great job Miss KP!
I could not wait to read "Dirty Divorce 2"; unfortunately I was disappointed, it was not as good as the first one. Dirty Divorce 2 did not pick up where 1 left off and I felt that 2 was not well thoughtout or planned and quickly written. Some of the character storylines were over the top and didn't make sense. The book did not truly become interesting until towards the end. Although the cliff hanger was a little predictable, it did peak my interest enough to want to know what happens to the characters in "Dirty Divorce 3 The Final Chapter." I hope author takes time with 3 and it doesn't dissapoint the way 2 did.
As I stated before, there's not a redeeming quality about any of these characters in this book. But love em or Hate Miss KP is a great story teller and can weave drama like no one's business. I'm hooked on the characters in this book even though they're all morally bankrupted. The basis of the how the characters make a living is drugs, but the story itself focuses on their lives which is refreshing.
I can't wait for part 3 to come out. Miss KP is quickly becoming one of my fav street lit authors!
filled with drama, secrets, & more lies. this second installment sucks you right into its pages. It picks up where the first part stopped off w/o a hitch. the plot seems to thicken as we get back immersed in the dirty divorce2.
Oh Rich, why didn’t you just put Lisa out of her misery or heck let Denie?! Lisa is probably the character I’ve disliked the most, since the first book….but whatev
You know that side character from a movie that is so insignificant that we wouldn’t miss them if they were gone? Yea, that’s Juan, an insignificant, woman obsessed Norman Bates. Like why was this second book mainly from his pov?! We don’t care about that creepy little weirdo that wants to be in the streets so bad but is just a naive wannabe lol.
This book was just as good as book 1. The way things happen I would have never seen it happening like that. I would recommend this book as a great reader.
I really tried to find a reason to give this book more than one star, but I couldn't.
I really enjoyed The Dirty Divorce, but this one was really bad. There are soooo many errors in this book. It seemed like every other page there was an error. I don't know if these errors would be considered minor to most people, but by the middle of the book they were so bad that I almost stopped reading it. When I was 87% thru, there was one error in particular that made me want to stop reading the book.
I don't understand how this book could have so many errors because Part 1 didn't have anywhere near as many. Due to all the errors, it makes me feel like the book was rushed.
As far as the storyline goes, it was not very interesting. The cliffhanger at the end was obvious and if I do decide to read Part 3, it won't be for awhile.
I can't really say more about the storyline without giving anything away so all I can say isi didn't enjoy the book at all. This is the 2nd book in 3 months that has turned me off from "hood books" for awhile.
Dirty Divorce 2 by Miss KP is an EXCELLENT book. I read book 1 and couldn't wait for this book to come out. This book has it all Sex, lies, Betrayl and loyalty all in on family..just when you think nothing else can happen.. Dirty Divorce 2 is certainly a page turner.
Dirty Divorce part 2 starts off with drama and violence as Rich learns that his son, Juan is dominating an industry where he used to be top dog. After grinding all his life, the fast money, and numerous women land Rich in a place where his only son has turned against him. For the first time in Rich's life, money can't solve the problem
I love this book the ending through me for a loop even though i'm not a huge fan of Rich i actually liked him a little more in this book the one i couldn't stand was Lisa she was very selfish and needs to get professional help how could you not even blink an eye when you kill your infant daughter because of who her father ended up being??? Lisa is a pathetic, selfish, remorseless, Junkie and i don't feel sorry for her anymore.
this was a great read but she was a doing a bit too much with the Puerto Ricans. I have Puerto Ricans cooking soul food. I do not know any Puerto Ricans who cook and or eat collard greens. everybody wanna be black at the beach but damn sure dont wanna be black at the bank. plus she had a few spelling errors and grammatical errors as well. other than that, i enjoyed it and i can not wait to read the dirty divorce 3.
This book was good, but not like the first. I felt like she rushed they this one to get to a better ending. I just kept reading through the part two because I knew part one was the bomb. Part two really had me going crazy at the end. Hopefully part there is better part than the others.. Miss Kp has won me over though.
I was able to read the first easy but this one I found myself skipping around just so I would know what happened to say I finished. Lisa was just too weak and stupid for me she let a man have too much control of her life it got to the point I was tired of reading about her. I am not reading book three.
Dirty Divorce 2 was just as interesting as the first book. This book had me on the edge of my seat! Juan and Lisa continue to go at each others throats, Denie is still very angry, Uncle Renzo is still trying to find out what happened to Carlos and the drama continues. Miss KP adds a few additional twist and surprises in this book as well. Great series!!!!
This book was crazy from the first page. Lisa is one crazy ass chick. Sometimes I don't think she know what was going on she would snap at a crack of a second. I know why but you need to read the book to find out why. Just know you will not be disappointed at all with this book. Great read 5 star book
Omg Dirty Divorce 2 had me on edge man I can't believe Lisa & her actions poor Juan & Denie they were the ones who really suffered. I was not expecting that ending Rich & Marisol are going to reap what they sow.
This book had so many suprises. I can not believe what Lisa did to Carlie. So many secrets and lies. So much hurt and pain. Lisa is always so close to getting herself back together and then something will set her back.
I'm upset with how Lisa is In this book I know she was crazy but I wanted her to get her life on track and leave out of town away from Rich I won't be in a rush to get the third one this book got me pissed
Sanchez family drama got worse in pt 2 I can't believe Marisol is Denie mother that a big shock Juan wasn't like his father I couldn't believe he was gonna snitch his own father out I hope their a part 3
OMG! This book was crazy! Although this one wasn't as good as the first one and was full of errors, it was a page turner that kept me on the edge of my seat and the ending was everything. I'm about to start part 3 now & I can't wait to find out what happens next.
