Emily has fallen in love with Sid Soloman--also known as the famous Doc Holliday--but she has a problem. She knows that Sid's joining the Church just for her, and that might not mean that he is willing to make the sacrifices the gospel requires. There's also Warren--strong, stable, righteous, committed--and boring. Would she be safer with Warren?
One of the best "Kimball Romances" out there. Right up there with "Charlie" & "Sam." Don't know if it's still in print. My copy is a good twenty years old.
Anything by this author is amazing! These first three books of hers are LDS works and our geared toward that religion. Her later works are for anyone who loves a good book. This is the second book in a trilogy. The first book is Home Again and it tells the story of how CJ and Kinsley meet. It is very good and I would read it before this one. This book I could really relate too. I am a mom and have had these same exact days and arguments with my husband. Why is it we feel we have to be supper mom or we feel no worth. It got me thinking and I loved how there was no clear cut answer, you just try your best and keep going and some days are better than others. The love story was very sweet, but that kind of girl I just don't get. I would have been impulsive and just screwed everything up so I am glad she handled it the way she did. Total cliff hanger tho! Geez good thing I already bought the third book and it's sitting here or I would be upset! Very clean read. 14 and up. Re-read April 19- Still Love it.
