VERY surprised but immensely please to see this even listed here. This is the story of my cousin, as gleaned from my aunt's daily journals written during this life-changing event for Scotty & our family. Scotty's story is inspirational but this simple book also reveals to all the amazing Proverbs 31 woman I am proud to call my aunt. Scotty has come so far since that awful day and spends his time ministering to families & individuals in hospitals/rehabs and volunteering at JAF camps with his wife, in addition to many speaking engagements at churches and youth organizations.
(this is really just a "rough-draft" kind of book - the man who was supposed to turn my aunt's journals into a book just basically copied everything she wrote down and left the majority of it "as is" ....doesn't matter though, the message still comes through loud and clear - God is the foundation for life....through Him, new and wonderful things can rise from the ashes of tragedy or brokenness.
