The first book that entirely changed my understanding of hadiths which were held in all perfect status. Alhamdulillah, journey starting from this book has helped in checking saheeh hadiths by verifying credibility of the source and veractity of the content. It is weak hadiths that has been the reason for many groups, beliefs, mis-interpretations. Instead of weak hadiths that were due to personal and political agendas, sticking to Quran and Wahi (Prophet's word) makes Islam very easy and straight forward. Would certainly gift this book as a starter for people who are exploring about hadiths.
This was more of a college textbook that a book for beginners. Too much information was stuffed into its 200 or so pages. However it was comprehensive and detailed about the important bits. A nice book to start with for people like me who know little about the subject.
