Pat Conroy wrote from a player’s perspective of the tumultuous basketball season of the 1966 – 67 Citadel basketball team in his eloquent memoir, My Losing Season.In Season on the Brink, John Feinstein wrote about controversial coach Bob Knight’s 1986 – 86 Indiana Hoosiers basketball team. And now, at long last, Scott Ludwig tells the story of his rewarding season coaching the 2016 – 17 Peachtree City Dragons. Breathing My Season with the Dragons is that story, a story that needed to be told. Breathing Fire is the heart-warming tale of seven boys who, over the course of one memorable season, grew to understand and appreciate the game of basketball.
