I have borrowed multiple books with patterns from my library in the past year or so but have not managed to complete anything from them. Last month, I finally sat down to make crochet socks from the book above. I extended my book and plan to make more, but it is still pending (like several others!).
This book was in Dutch, but any knitter or crochet enthusiast would attest (or so I assume) that following instructions is easy once you know the terminology. It is easy enough to check with the key and the diagram to confirm.
This book has sizes for all socks, from newborn to larger sizes. The patterns are easy to understand and follow. The diagrams are clear, and given the number of sizes offered, the entire family can match! I like such specific books because one will never forget what the book contains and go back to it whenever the need arises.
I highly recommend this for those sock makers who want to try crocheting instead of knitting to make them. Although it is slightly a bulkier finished product in comparison.
